It’s been a really long time since I played Warcraft: Orcs & Humans but I don’t remember the Legion being in it at all. Pretty sure that was a retcon.
The Legion always made the Orcs green and sent them to Azeroth… lmao.
I don’t think the original Warcraft even hinted at the Legion.
You can’t go by wikipedia entries written after WC3 and WoW came out because they all reference the modern lore.
WC 1 had Orcs and Humans. Nothing more.
You can read about them drinking the blood of Mannoroth.
I love how they rewrote pretty much the best parts of all of WoW’s lore just to hype up the worst WoW villain and one of the most underwhelming villains in the genre, lol.
That did not happen in WC1. There was no mention of corrupted Orcs or anything of that nature.
Anything after the first game was a retcon of the events.
Blizzard, back in the day, have always said to post on WoW forums why you leaving, giving feedback, I assume when they actually cared…
Regardless how you look at it, being negative or positive, feedback is feedback, invaluable to any company or Buisness. It’s good to know what the customers or consumers like or dislike…
From a buisness perspective it’s good to know what your customers like or dislike, but currently they have the “let us know mentality” but completely ignore it…
Look at when they first announced Allied Races in Blizzcon, they literally said “tell us the races you’d like to see playable”…
Hundreds of threads popped up, with thousands of player support and still going strong, I have yet to see any of those races been implemented… it’s been how many years since legion?.
They are always saying “let us know” but never actually follow through…
Winning is by definition clearing raids. You can do this without having the devs kill off every character.
Oh give me a break lol
Kel’thuzzad serves death.
Everyone says he was.mind controlled by Frostmourne. It just so happens that mournblades share the influence of a subconscious will.
And now we know what that will is.
Maybe they still aren’t. Maybe for them, the Jailer is a means to an end.
Yes, she is. Why is this relevant?
You’re so brave. I hope you manage to beat the Jailer or whatever it is you’re gonna do.
4 of the last 5 main raid bosses have lived (perhaps even 5 of the last 5 as some people speculate that N’Zoth is still kicking). There is no way to win by raiding. Not anymore.
I still believe Azshara was canonically killed, but then her soul was ripped out of the afterlife and put back in at the end.
Yes, the retcons are atrocious. Blizz could have taken Sylvanas in numerous different ways, but chose the lazy way out.
Victory for Sylvanas!
Is that supposed to be some sort of moral victory for those who completed the raid?
I’m sick of this crap “lore.”
Excellent! That vehicle combat stuff drove me bonkers and I haven’t tried it again in about a month. Nowhere near completion. Well done, Shal
You seem to be the only one in this thread to recognize that this thread is more about beating the Path of Ascension than quitting, lol.
I actually like the Forsworn side story of Shadowlands and have been wanting the Forsworn set since launch.
Yeah, they’re probably one of the more compelling “adversaries” in the expansion. They’re believable and relatable.
The set also looks good on its own. Not too garish or bright.
