Here’s what it wrote:
E.T. returned to Earth after many years away, excited to reunite with his human friend Elliot. He had so many fond memories of his time on the planet, and he was eager to reconnect with his old friend, Elliott. As he descended to the surface, however, he quickly realized that something was wrong. The familiar forests and fields were nowhere to be seen, replaced instead by a cold, lifeless landscape of metal and machines.
Puzzled and alone, E.T. wandered through this strange new world, searching for any signs of the life he remembered. But the only beings he encountered were machines, moving about their business with no interest in the alien visitor.
As he searched for any signs of life, E.T. stumbled upon a small, battered teddy bear lying on the ground. Upon closer inspection, he saw that it was the same teddy bear that Elliot had given him all those years ago. With tears in his eyes, E.T. realized that his dear friend must have perished long ago, and that he was truly alone on this desolate planet.
Heartbroken and lost, E.T. sat down beside the teddy bear, feeling a sense of despair and hopelessness that he had never known before. He knew that he could never leave this planet, as there was nowhere else for him to go. And so he stayed there, alone with his memories of Elliot, watching as the robots went about their business, completely unaware of the tragedy that had befallen the planet.
And so E.T. sat there, watching and waiting, until the end of time.
