I apologize on behalf of the Alliance

Between the Alliance premading , and nobraining left into the Horde for consistent deaths and 0 honor, I apologize for them. (where did these people come from I wonder)

It’s our Job to give you good competitive games, and unfortunately with some of the people we have playing for the Alliance, it hinders us from playing AV properly. (and yes, there IS a proper way to play AV)

Turtles are normal at times in AV, but not consistent Turtles. Consistent in the way of every game you join has Alliance plugging along into nothingness, further demonstrating how much people care.

Between Blizzard not responding (and i don’t think they will) to an easy fix for a lot of the issues we are facing, and the Alliance having no heart due to the fact we start with 2-11 people (Self inflicted from Premades) , I don’t see this getting any better. The easy fix is to not start the game until you have the correct amount of people on each side. It’s a 40v40 game, meant for 40v40. It’s not a BG made for 11 vs 40. It’s not a BG meant for starting with less than 40 players.

This causes conflict between the players, arguments that could have been avoided.

TLDR; I apologize for Blizzards mistakes and the Alliance wanting to take the easy route through premades. Thanks for reading.

I think people are finally running out of cares to give about any of this.

You may be correct.

To be honest it’s no way a pug group of alliance can get pass the turtle the horde puts up. I’ve been in premades where hordes literally have 35 people showing up on my spy addon defending so we end up just playing it slow. U can even have 3 people defend our base because it’s never more than 10 people on offense and they come in 1-2 at a time easy to play defense

Yeah there’s a lot of variables to each pug, the main issue I see is starting with 11 people. (give or take)

No, the easy fix is to prevent the behavior that’s causing these games to start one sided. Bad alliance pugs are a consequence of alliance opening games they have no intention of playing.

Are you really sorry? Really?

Do you really care? Really?

The game launched when there were 40 people on each side, one side decided to accept their queues and the other had 30 or-so decline.

Now, if you’re talking about sitting there behind the gate and waiting for the team to backfill up before they open, i dont think that will go as well as you may hope. After the initial premade quits and requeues, what is stopping the same 30 people who dropped queue from being thrown back into the same AV only to decline again…and again…and again. That would mean the gates might take for ever to open, and seems pretty harsh for both sides who were using the system as intended.

While I agree with the point you’re trying to make, starting with 11 people is much more terrible.

The gates shouldn’t open until there are 40 people. Launched vs Gates opening.

Punishing those who are using the system as intended is a poor way of fixing a problem for those using it unintended

Care to put that into terms that i’d be able to understand? please?

Forcing people who are legitimately queueing, Alliance puggers and the Horde to look at a locked gate for who-knows how long while an Alliance premade queues into the same unfilled game over-and-over-and-over is a poor way to fix the problem of premades mass queue dropping.

Fixing the mass queue dropping fixes the problem.

I don’t apologize to Hordies. I kick them in the teeth.

(Right before they kill me.)

I agree with you 100%. How do we fix the mass Queue dropping though?

Same way LFR does it. have the team decide through a readycheck when they want the BG to start.

I’m not a game designer, but a few ideas I have seen floated around are completely hiding the AV# so people dont know where they’re queueing into, or at some sort of deserter debuff to those who drop queue too much.

There may be a more elegant solution though, but i think either of those would do the job.

I agree that the gates should not be opening until teams are ready, as the gates were intended for preparation and waiting on team members to join. The gates cannot fulfill their purpose if people queue dodge out or just simply do not join.

The best solution to queue dodging itself could be to apply the deserter debuff if a player leaves the queue. Some people from private servers were kind enough to alert everybody to the presence of queue dodgers before Classic was released. Now here they are.

the ZA Gong mechanic comes to mind except it must be activated by both sides.
