I have playing a mage for over two years because Hunters wasn’t my best interest anymore. In my opinion, Hunter are just terrible and i was hoping Blizzard can turn things around with MM Hunter, but… nope. Not happen.
No, the talent only allows you to have a pet. That is it. No buff or anything. It is a dps lost but fun for open world content.
You’re free to join in that big target of his that he created.
Do it then! I won’t break!
Not true. The blue post specifically said they were buffing MM pet damage to make up for the loss of having them out

Additionally, this talent will improve the durability and damage output of your pet to better compensate for the potential throughput loss.

Because he hasn’t made a point. The talent node is literally buff your falcon or loose DPS and get your pet back. That is it.
It’s a choice node and there are no other talents to buff pet damage. So where are you getting this made up scenario from?
The entire redesign is still in effect. One talent point was turned into a choice node instead.
No, OP did not. And this is the second thread of his misinformation.
He probably got flagged for either spam or insulting people.
It is still a DPS lost because you get more damage from the other node. It just won’t be ridiculously terrible if you want to use a pet.
I knew i was going to get flagged, but i wanted to express my emotions how i truly feel about the MM Hunter.
While I think the concept is fun (it’s basically torchlight’s outlander) there is still a nagging voice in the back of my head that feels like MM/SV should have just been Ranger period, with choice nodes representing undead or living (living being the sentinel & farstrider subspec) - maybe even with the hero class name changing based on those choice nodes
Next time, scream into a pillow.
You don’t even have any correct information and you’re just trolling like your last thread.
All the ones angry are the ones who didn’t actually try it on the PTR
Until you consider that pet damage will be consistent and ignore DPS interruptions, like I mentioned earlier.
It will highly likely outperform the no pet option in the long run
I suggest buying a plush horsie, or unicorn, proceed to give it a name, and love it unconditionally.
I want to own a horse one day.
You got exactly that. As everyone tried to explain to you in your thread yesterday on this subject. It seems like it’s not about the revamp at all and you’re actually only happy if a whole lot of people lose something they care about.
They already tested it, it won’t be. And if it is, that says more about the player than about the pet
Unlike BM, MM is all your own physical damage. The pet will not out damage any of your stuff or the node. It is like saying serpent stings dot damage will make you outperform because it ticks.
This guy not only didn’t test it on PTR, but also never even read or looked at the spec whatsoever.
All the those Hunter players who begged for Blizzard to keep their pets should also be flagged because they are expressing their emotions too?
No, that was feedback. I’ve seen more seething and emotional rage of the pet being a choice than any feedback about the hunter theme.
