So first of all, the only prereq is supposedly level 40. That’s a lie. Second, there’s a quest chain in Kul Tiras. I did start it, but it appears to have bugged out, because I have no more quests. I looked it up and the next quest should be “The Master Shipwright”, but I don’t have it, and there is no quest giver to give it to me. Lady Proudmoore gave me a letter and then…nothing, that was it.
How do I fix this?
This may be totally unhelpful in which case I apologize, but do you have “Low-Level Quests” and “Warband Completed Quests” checked when you right-click your mini-map? (One of the recent patches reset mine so I had to check them again.) Or are you able to open the letter and accept a quest from there?
It’s been a while since I unlocked KTs and the req’s were different back then, so if neither of those are the problem, hopefully someone else can chime in.
You gone to the Embassy with a level 40 and looked for the unlock quest chain?
Hi guys. No I don’t have low level quests turned off. I’m a returning player, havnt played since Pandaria, and lost my account info so started over.
Yes I went to the Embassy. I mean, I had no issue unlocking the Lightforged, but this one…doesnt make any sense. The quest chain just stopped. “The Master Shipwright” should be next but I don’t have it, and its not there to accept.
Darn, that would be too easy I guess. 
Ok, so you had the Made in Kul Tiras quest, went to Cyrus to turn it in, and he didn’t offer the next quest The Master Shipwright immediately afterwards?
I’m trying to familiarize myself so I’m looking at YouTube videos and it looks like you pick up the letter from Jaina AFTER you are offered the quest for The Master Shipwright. Maybe you can destroy the letter and see if the quest pops up?
I remember taking the letter from her, but don’t remember after that. I don’t have the letter, she won’t talk to me, I don’t have the quest before “The Master Shipwright”, the quest its self or the next one.
The letter isn’t in my bag, nice suggestion though, I bet it would reset the quest if I could do that.
Hm. If you got the letter from her but don’t have it anymore, I’m wondering if you turned it in and didn’t realize it. It looks like the quest gets turned in to Cyrus, but in Stormsong Valley (Brennadam) instead of the Harbormaster’s Office. Then he immediately offers the quest Fish Tales and Distant Sails. I’m curious if anything pops up for you in Brennadam, like if that’s where the quest chain left off. Maybe it’s a stupid suggestion but now I’m invested lol.
I figured out where I stopped finally. I was to the northeast when I got confused and left.
wowpedia has a write up on the quest chain; The_Master_Shipwright ( cant link it). Was on the third one I think. But ya…it doesnt feel like this is a part of the chain. The info on this whole thing is very misleading, or out of date depending on where you look, and I STILL don’t know if finishing The Master Shipwright will unlock the race.
