I am unable to enjoy the game because of the systems put in place in shadowlands

Torghast isnt bad just boring with no direct rewards outside currency.

Soul binds are talent trees

Conduits are talents

Leggos are equippable talents.

The problem is they are tacked on outside our characters and at this point the players know they wont go beyond SL so there is no attachment.

The indifference makes it feel bad because why bother.

Since theres no content and no attachment its no bueno.

For the eventual 2032 release (not a typo).

Because people have it in their minds that there’s a big difference between WoD and MoP, when the only real difference was that WoD had 1 less tier, which many of them wouldn’t have bothered doing anyway.

MoP was raid/pvp or die. Just like WoD, and just like Wrath.

People just have bad memories.

MoP had dailies. And Timeless Isle had way more treasure hunting to keep it relevant longer than Tanaan.

Timeless Isle did permanent damage to the game by introducing the “4 hour respawn with a 1% chance of dropping what you want” model that still plagues the game to this day.

Mists loses points because of Timeless Isle…

Some people aren’t super obsessed with raiding, the two major differences for me personally was that MoP was full of lush and open spaces, even Timeless Isle where you couldn’t fly was basically all relatively flat grassy areas with that one ramp that circled around to take you to the top part. Wod was where they tried to remove flying and changed their terrain design, it was filled with horrible terrain, tight spaces and situations where you didn’t know if your quest objective was under you, above you or a cave entrance 100 yards away that took wowhead to lead you to,it took forever to get from A to B because of that crap.

I loved questing and leveling alts in MoP but despised it in WoD.

No question that Ion’s insane War on Flying was a big negative mark against WoD.

Unfortunately, it’s something that persists to this day.

Sadly, yes :disappointed_relieved:

Legions classes were as close to pick and play as you could get. Nothing like what exists now. It was as easy as pressing the power button on your TV remote and choosing a channel. Now we have to build the TV and remote from scratch and then pay extra for the channels.

I still feel in part of me that it’s not the devs fault. It’s those with the amazing idea of taking the fun out of making videogames and other things.

There was way more content than that one mount.

Who said anything about a mount?

I’m talking about the toys and pets. The entire damn island was “wait for hours for a 1% drop chance”.

Nah, most of the rares where on much faster timers than Huolon.

And none of that matters, rares in “farm zones” are now on minute timers. You can just wait there for 5 and it’ll spawn usually.

So even if you want to pretend the timers were long on Timeless Isle, it didn’t persist in Mechagon/Korthia/Nazjatar, what have you.

Rustfeather says hi.

(And he’s FAR from the only one.)

Soundless. Rotfeaster. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. Take your pick.

Dude, there’s like 50 rares per zone, you zoom in on the 1.

Also, those had short respawn compared to Huolon. It was super dumb easy to get Rustfeather done daily.

Those zones are fine. No different than Isle of Quel’danas really. Just waste of times running around picking up things. Tanaan was a poor version of it, Mechagon was much better, Broken shore was an atrocity, Argus was better, etc… etc… etc…

Also pet battles, bind on account items, a better lfr for the “casual” players, more accessible flying, as well as a new class and race to encourage leveling.

Agree with you

Timeless isle rares were lootable multiple times and not tied entirely to a daily reset. I actually prefer this a bit more than what we have now.
