Is it just that dungeon or all BFA dungeons and why?
It’s because that dungeon is going on the M+/heroic dungeon season circuit so it’s getting scaled up at that difficulty.
So it will be scaled down after that week?
Has nothing to do with “fun detected”. Mechagon is in the S2 dungeon rotation so it’s being scaled up for the duration of S2.
Mechagon will be scared down at the end of the season, as I understand it - unless Blizz puts Mech back into seasonal dungeon rotation then for S3. I believe the upscale is only for mythic and heroic difficulties? But not sure.
Ok, it’s just a temporary fix BFA isn’t in my dungeon rotation for mounts yet.
Yeah, just for this next ~4/5 months of season 2. Not a permanent change.
Sounds about right when I will start the mount/pet farming, going through each expansion at a time for stuff I didn’t collect.
Why can’t they separate it. They need a option to disable the scale up if your not doing it for S2 stuff. People could want to do it for transmog runs and don’t want to run up against lv 80 elites.
They need a difficulty setting like your setting a dungeon.

how do you farm it?
I see something on wowhead about a robot dog boss called kujo but he’s not one of the bosses i see when i zone into mechagon
Mechagon is separated into the Yard and Workshop. There’s a bunch of bosses you have to kill on the outside to get inside, and Kujo is the second boss you encounter when you have gotten to the Workshop section.

i only ever spent like an hour in mechagon before and did the first 4 bosses of the dungeon once in lfg. was unsubbed when that patch came out
thanks for the help, figured out the way to cheese the stupid flying 4th boss’s nuke and ended up beating the whole place. no cloak for title yet tho
I never knew this was a permanent title! I thought you had to wear the back item for it. Cool!
