where do you think they got they money to make classic in the first place. or do you think it just fell from the sky? essentially were bamboozled into paying for what eventually became a private server. most classic players didn’t pay for it. they were playing nost or whatever other pirate server, for free.
Blizzard will do whatever rewards Blizzard with more income…
check my post history. i’ve posted there way more than here recently.
Then why are you so surprised that Blizzard might be exploring this option? There’s a problem with classic era servers right now. They’ve lost more people than they can recoup.
Irrelevant. This is about Classic. You’ve gotten a whole two likes and a whole lot of comments that should prove no one really cares here.
Move it to Classic and you’ll see people who might care more.
So in other words, he posted it here, because he’d get even more backlash if he posted it there.
LOL probably. I think there are also players there that just want all the servers merged into a mega-classic server. That creates other problems though.
search bloodsail buccaneers in the classic vanilla GD and you’ll see that that was the server people wanted to play vanilla forever on. those are the people who you guys are snarking, along with me. just because you want classic that is actually retail doesn’t mean everyone does.
LOL, don’t they tell you not to disclose that survey little alone recording you going through it, lmaoooo.
edit: Also, exactly what we need, MORE ITERATIONS OF THE SAME DAMN GAME TO KEEP SPLITTING THE COMMUNITY AND DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES FURTHER.
What the hell is wrong with this company? Are they seriously going to keep relaunching their game OVER AND OVER AND OVER?!
Nobody wants classic to be retail. People are quitting retail to play classic, myself included. You keep failing to understand that classic era is in a bad spot right now. That started as soon as BC was announced. Everyone saw this coming and now something needs to be done about that.
Fresh servers are not going to be full of people getting to 60 in 3 days. There will be plenty of people taking their time and doing the leveling dungeons. That’s the appeal because you can’t do that now. The world is dead on the classic servers. That isn’t coming back unless something is done about it.
I think this is a bad investment of time and resources to put into a project.
Retail is basically classic+ and I think having 4-5+ slightly different versions of classic WoW will just hog resources for the sake of fragmenting the player base even more.
thats what the streamers said they were gonna do in classic and you saw what happened. the meta humpers will ruin the new servers the same way they did the initial servers. you haven’t been in 375937593475345 F R E S H threads the way i have and it’s obvious.
I am not sure why the outrage nor where the ‘private server’ business comes into play, it is Blizzard’s IP, I would guess they would be releasing their game.
Who cares what the streamers do? People want fresh servers so that the world will be alive again. Since you have no interest in that, I don’t see how that hurts you at all. Keep your characters on the regular server.
Lmao. The entire game is in a bad spot right now. The last thing they need to do is continue focusing resources on NOSTALGIA and relaunching their game every damn year.
This is getting beyond stupid at this point. I’m literally at a loss for words with how blatant of a cash grab this is becoming. You expect corporations to act like corporations but this is on another level.
Was kinda hoping for a classic+ type of deal but oh well
part of the reason I was leaving my P1/2 mage at 60
Gonna go ahead and click “Strongly Like” on that Alterac Valley question.
kings honor, friend.
I agree, but I don’t think it costs them much to roll out a couple of fresh servers. Putting that money into retail isn’t going to fix it. That ship sailed.
Where your post should be.
I’m on Bloodsail. Don’t act like your some victim here.
It’s all over Wowhead. What? ![]()
Yeah. We’re done here. You have no idea who you’re talking to or what you’re talking about. Good riddance.
