A co-guild member was just banned for botting. He does not bot, but was fishing in the same spot for a couple of hours. He then did some professions and when he was depositing items into the bank he was banned for 6 months.
After looking at some forum posts (https://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=242944) and see this happening to other people while fishing, I am to scared to fish!!
Blizzard will not state why they made the decision to ban a 14 year long veteran to Wow with 0 previous issues. I need to make food and other things for the upcoming raid, but will not fish at this time in fear of 6 month ban.
