So I hit level 60 on the second convent first part last Saturday, an I found to have to go through two more convent stories before I can even pick. It just took me just 5 hours to level up. Now stuck in this loop. Anyone want to give advice. Seem silly I have to complete two more convent stories before I can progress.
Do you have to pick a coconut when you reach level 60 or does it let you keep questing before it makes you? And can you pick before?
I did the same thing; I took my time doing side quests and dungeons and I ended up hitting 60 before I finished the Ardenwall zone. You just have to keep questing until you finish the main storylines and you pick your Covant then, and you aren’t missing out on very much so there’s no need to worry. I saw 9 more chapters once I chose my Covant and only two of them are actually unlocked.
My understanding the first time leveling you have to complete it. As far as alts go you can choose threads of fate.
You must finish campaign story to pick your covenant. It’s part of the leveling process.
I’m betting you did too many side quests. If you just stick to the campaign you end up 60 right about the time you finish it up.
I need to find a Convent. And praise Jesus
Can alts choose this at any point after your main fulfils their requirements?
Alts choose to do campaign story or Threads of Fate after the do the maw intro.
If you choose Threads of Fate you CANNOT switch back to campaign mode. However, if you start in campaign mode you can switch to Threads at any time.
Many people are leveling by campaign and then switching to Threads right before hitting 60 so they don’t have to finish the story quests before choosing a covenant.
I think too that the Thread of Fate is only when you already have a character at 60 in a Covant, is this correct?
Having to do all the covenants on your 1st character makes sense since it introduces you to all the covenants’ backstories and the abilities they give you, which in theory allows you to make an “informed” choice. You can then skip all of them on subsequent characters so it seems like a fair requirement to me.
I think that you have to finish the last two zones before you can choose a conavint, but I could be wrong about that. Is this your first character that you’re leveling or do you have another one in a conavint?
We should have a choice of Covenants, Convents, and Covens.
You definitely have to finish the “story mode” quests which end in Revandreth, on your first play through. I hit 60 on my first quest in Revandreth and still had to complete the zone in order to chose a covenant.
Typically you have to pick coconuts when they’re ripe or it’ll be sour.
Wait, where’s my coconut? No one told me there would be coconuts! I mean, I don’t even like them…
You have to finish the story quests before you can pick a covenant the first time. Reaching 60 is needed for the final section of the story.
This is super helpful, thanks so much for that and the tip! <3
Come visit, I’m in the tropics. Have lots of coconuts, will change your mind about you not liking them!
What?!?! People on the forums annoyed about something stupid??? Nooooo you don’t say
I have 2 coconuts…
So basically I have to finish. Man, they really like slowball you. Thank you guys for your replies. All I did was the quest. The level exp was not very hard to get in the quest. So back to the slog.
