Going to be rolling a horde, it is going to be very PvP focused alt. I want to rank to 12 at least, possibly 14. I also really enjoy wPvP and I want healthy wPvP. What server should I go on?
Also another question: Are small servers easier to rank on? Compare for example Arcanite Reaper with Faerlina
I suspect that we don’t know the answer to this yet, if the question is that you are looking for a leg up as to which server will be the easiest as Horde to achieve high ranking on.
This will depend greatly on the competition on the server, so it would make sense that a higher population server, like Faerlina, and particularly one with all of the professional PVPers from Retail, and PServers, like Faerlina would be more difficult to obtain a high ranking on than others…
Although, it also greatly depends on your amount of time available to play, and ability to farm Honorable Kills, and avoid Dishonorable Kills.
“Your ranking for the week, as well as the number of HKs you’ve accumulated for the week, when summed up with all your HKs before, will determine your current rating for the week.”
Bump since I’m in the same boat but want to run an ally alt. Just want a decent PvP east coast realm with a fair population balance. Suggestions? Maybe deviate delight?
As for horde, kromcrush is a good split faction wise. I feel like I see as many horde as I do ally. Lots of wpvp in North STV and hillsbrad but that’s typical.
When it comes to realm pop affecting PvP ranks, I’ve heard low pop means less competition so ranks are easier. I’ve also heard high pop means more people can achieve that rank at one time so it’s easier despite the competition. So I’m not sure who to believe…
Sulfuras has had a fairly even amount of wPVP going on. Switches off between who controls the main spots but you can also quest right along side 3 ally and most the time they won’t kill you.
