Ok i finished Battle for Lordearon and it gave me a quest … A Dying World
im in stormwind it says take portal to uldum to get closer to silithus
wich portal takes you to uldum
The portal isn’t in the Mage Tower, it’s at the Earthshrine in the lake on the northeast side of the city. Just past the Dwarven District.
The portals there go to the Cataclysm areas and one will take you to Uldum. From there you can fly on over to Silithus for the quest.

If you never did the Uldum quest to get the portal (if that’s still a thing), just take the Caverns of Time portal. That will get you close as well.

Never ask anything in-game. For some reason the answer is always “google it” or no answer at all.
The people in this game are next-level unhelpful.
Make friends with wowhead. It will tell you everything you need to know.

Oh they changed it some time ago. The portal is always there even if you didn’t do Uldum’s intro quests.

I know I went thru the Twilight Highlands portal on a boost and couldn’t get the portal back without doing the quests. Grrrr!
