I am kinda getting bored

It’s weird because despite supposedly only 4.9% of hunters reaching level 30, and a mere 1.5% of them reaching level 40, I find myself not excited or interested anymore on my level 39.

I didn’t expect loss of interest to kill me before actually dying killed me. What do, gamers?

go agane (as a different class)

Play what you actually want to play and not the easiest safest class bc the stats.

Take a break, roll another class, go back to the other mode of choice, quit.
That’s all I’ve got.

Kind of typical I think. The 30s are the doldrums levels suffering from SM overexposure if dungeon running is your thing. I think the best part of the game is leveling 45-60. Very different experience.

Or maybe you’re just done and are best to move on.

Statistically hunters are in the middle, not on top. Paladins and Priests are what are surviving to 60 in greatest numbers.

Warrior .27%
Paladin .34%
Shaman .07% (worst by a lot)
Rogue .13%
Mage .3%
Warlock .13% (apparently pets dont make you safer magically)
Priest .34%
Hunter .22%
Druid .28%

This is based on actual people who have hit 60.
Hunters are in 5th place.

Take a break. There’s nothing that says you need to play every day. I got bored a few days ago, played Starfield these last couple of days, and now came back to WoW feeling refreshed.

I think there’s an issue of mindset when it comes to survival rates among classes.

People that play cautiously will do better. Priest kind of teaches people to play methodically and carefully.

Hunters tend to become complacent with the pet taking the heat and with good escape tools on short CDs; this leads to overconfidence.

Good hunters know their limits and will become virtually unstoppable.

I like to think I do a good job being careful. I have had 4 near death experiences on my 39 hunter and 3 of them were due to mobs spawning virtually instantly. But everyone has to deal with that.

Have one of every class and play them while they have rested XP or until you get bored then move on to the next one.

Yeah once you get into the 40s the levels start taking longer and longer grinds. As others have said, you probably just need a short break.

You’ve won the game … you’re better than all the other players before you … uh, pat on the back …

Not sure what you’re looking for other than acknowledgment in how amazing you are over the other 99% of players for getting to 39.

Are you trying to debate how hunters aren’t easy mode?? There are more effective ways of accomplishing that sort of conversation over providing statistics and claiming you’re “bored”.

The hype starts slipping quick 40+. You are not alone. I played HC in 2020 and unfortunately kept going until I had 3 60s that gave me zero satisfaction. (I only kept going ignorant of what else was available to play) All before I moved to retail… thank god I dropped HC then… never went back.

Your presence here indicates you didn’t drop HC after all, it still lives rent free in your head.

I got my hunter up to 27 rather quickly. Then my HC buddy got distracted by other classes! >.<

With the drop of 10.1.7 and the hype for 10.2 - there’s a few things I want to do back over in retail land - so personally I’ll probably be swapping between the two games till the new raid tier drops.

Which is probably healthy

a hunter is bored? no way :expressionless:
try a difficult class

You know what, as rude as your reply is you’re absolutely right. It wasn’t my intention to try and point out that I was better than anyone or good at surviving or anything like that, but my post definitely came across that way.

All I can say is that wasn’t my intention, however I don’t blame you for thinking it was.
