- Why am I able to completely screw up my profession points while leveling
- Why is there not an item that lets you reset your profession points but costs 5k gold and has a one week cd?
- Make professions account wide…
- Make the new renown rep system account wide…
- Find a way to make it so the new AH Work Order system can mostly replace trade chat. There is no reason we should still have to spam this much to get what we want and the work order system goes mostly unused on the public side.
I feel this would go a LONG way towards fixing professions for those that don’t have all day to play every day.

Its a hot mess. all made to sell tokens. Blizz seen how much the made off the white for LEGOs in SL. Now they try to Gaslight us saying “players asked for this crap”

Not sure what you mean by making profs account-wide, but I agree there should be something–even if it’s only useable once per patch–that lets us reset our skill points.

Just make it so you access the same professions (all of them) on all your characters. There is no real need to make you level tailoring (etc) for the 5th time if you want it on 5 characters.

Account wide banks (like guild banks but just for your WoW account) would be awesome!

Should be a one-off. If a player messes things up again, knowing now there are places to research the specialization, that should be their own fault.
they always gaslighting imo we ask for a lot of good stuff imo but never get them in general.

At this point, a single reset would give players more than enough points to “properly” spec themselves out. It would take a complete rework of the profession by Blizzard to necessitate additional resets.

What mats are in raid that sent in open world. Serious question also haven’t found any yet but there may be for some professions I don’t have
Professions are great. If you messed up your points that’s on you not bliz. two seconds of google search would point you to the info with all you need to know.
Some recipes are rare and that’s a good thing. I haven’t got lariat yet but will keep trying so in the mean time I have specialised in rings and fire gems. While on inscription focused on DMCs which was a mistake but it was my call against advise so I will own it.
Take responsibility for you own actions and choices ,don’t expect Blizz to bail you out if you make a mistake

One of the OG “RPG elements from the roots of wow” that devs seem so infatuated with is unrecoverable mistakes. You didn’t ask the right questions because the wording of the information you were given in game was intended to make it seem like you were being given everything you needed to know.
Unrecoverable mistakes mean they can’t be fixed. People lose a lot of time, and they have to start again or give up.
Not everyone is willing to waste time rerolling because they ran into a trap that was put there to entrap players who happened to guess wrong. That’s why stuff like this isn’t seen so much anymore, because most people have limited time to play and don’t like having it wasted.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m loving professions personally, though that’s because I love the idea of being self sufficient with my alt army. It’s definitely a large part of why I’m enjoying Dragonflight.
I do agree with the Renown, and the Crafting Order system should have been connected to the AH. There was no reason to separate it.

Nobody is liking professions atm. Those who say they like it are those who supported blizzard through all the allegations in their workplace. Meaning only those who no matter what blizzard does will continue to worship the company.
Thankfully you are not the majority.
- You aren’t. You will eventually be able to get all of the talents. They explain this in game.
- because eventually you’ll be able to get all of the talents. There is no need.
- while I’m not against having recipes be account bound, in particular rare ones, having the entire system be account wide means we might as well just let everyone get every profession
- the work order system doesn’t go "largely unused on medium to large servers. Could there be improvements? Sure. But asking for them to “find a way” to do it is both vague and not in any way helpful.
