I find nothing but boredom every time I log in. The only thing I enjoy doing is the old content. Fact that Ion refuses to acknowledge there’s any problem with current direction of the game, has me lost hope on WoW completely. It’s over.
I have 3 months of subscription left (Impulse purchased 6m+ for the Dreadwake mount. Kicking myself now), but I am just going to let it exhaust. Warcraft has been my favorite franchise ever. It’s depressing to see it get killed right in front of our eyes.
its just as bad for raiders, we are 7/8 mythic, on raid day we have 40-50+ people online for our two raid teams, on off nights we are lucky to have 5-10.
There’s literally zero content in the game for us to do outside of raiding. We want to play wow. There’s just nothing to do other than our weekly 10.
You are not wrong, its sad to see new content not being as interesting and FUN as the old. Hopefully it will get better next patch, but I have a feeling it won’t be.
Sad to see another one go, but I get it. I have been running old content lately too, and it has been pretty fun. But I am sure my enjoyment of that will start to fade too, sooner or later. Hopefully there is something more promising in the future that will keep me looking forward.
I just unsubbed too. I’ve unsubbed and took a break before but noticed this time around, It didn’t ask for feedback why I’ve cancelled. This might finally be it for me…
I am here until January at least. I am just SO sad about the direction they have taken this game. If they would just go back to passionate, big game design instead of obvious gimmickry and bad experiments, they would have a fairly large and stable customer base. Instead they tried to get away with less and less and less and now it is really biting them in the behind.
The only reason to make a departure post, or at least a lengthy one, is just about a childish sense of self-importance and entitlement. You might as well just call the devs “dumb dumb heads” and inform them that their mothers don’t really love them.
He loves the game and is providing some emotional feedback about why he feels he doesn’t want to play anymore. Insulting people who have fallen out of love with the game due to development decisions isn’t the way to help your community.
The tears I read about, when “Classic” comes, are going to be so delicious.
I played “Classic”, either these people haven’t or they were in a “perfect situation with the perfect guild.” I don’t think people understand all of the variables, which have to mesh perfectly, for it to be a good playing experience at all.
Yeah, sure, “community.” Because you HAD to, for ANYTHING, with pretty much NOTHING ELSE to do.
And the only reason for criticizing people who make a departure post is that you’re part of an organized campaign with the agenda of trying to censor reality.
You’re trying way too hard and your skills are not up to this task. That last sentence shows you as the only child in the room.
