I agree. In fact, to help counter this, I started reporting the trolls in this thread with all the negative nancy elitist attitude. However, there was so much of it that I ran out of “reports”. Literally. The UI told me to wait 24 hours before I could report more. And there are a few people in this thread that have posted numerous times, so much so, that after reporting every one of their troll posts, and I still was told to stop, even though there are more posts to flag.
Blizzard wants to detoxify the game? They can start by letting us police ourselves, and limiting the amount of reports one can make is counter intuitive to that argument.
For you. So you can flex a statistic that ultimately means nothing to anyone but the small minority of you. Your rating could come from whether or not you can complete the higher levels. Look at those who chase rating in pvp. How fast you win does not matter. You think that the timer is the only measure of success and THAT is the bad take.
Off-topic (which is probably fortunate), but what’s the deal with Pagle? When I still played classic, I had a run-in with a Pagle transfer and he was pretty insufferable. It was only one dude, but still.

I think it’s worth taking a criticism sometimes, even if it’s not something you like. It can improve your skills and if you like pushing harder content then the better you do, the more fun you’ll have!

Being an adult, and being an eggplant, are two very, very different things.
No, doing nothing is considered freeloading. Nobody is asking to replace your healing with DPS, genius. They are talking about healers who do nothing between healing, obviously. Tanks don’t waste globals, dps don’t waste globals, why are some healers so adamant about being able to waste their globals? Bunch of crying children, honestly.

You realize that valor upgrades are tied to IO rating right? Its not “just a score”
Yeah its the huge PvE server for Classic players who cant handle any kind of PvP at all. They are MEGA casuals… which is totally fine… but they feel the need to crap on anyone who puts in any effort into the game.
They try to play the “too cool to care about the game” when in reality they just arent good players.
Its a nauseating server honestly.
Evidence of a design problem. They are obsessed with esport design and it has been a problem for several expansions. It is just a score and they have exacerbated the problem by catering to it.
It absolutely sucks that you are now REQUIRED to maximize your globals and parsing just to get anywhere in the game.
In vanilla you could literally afk in the middle of the raid fight, sitting out of combat, and casting resurrection.
Much different now. Way harder. Demands a lot more attention and focus. I personally like to play games where I can AFK my brain and click a button here and there every so often and make progress while watching YouTube. It’s good.
This entire focus and demanding of your attention and fast-paced mechanics and the reaction time it requires is just not built for the MMO audience.
Nah not at all. the io ceiling needed for max valor upgrades is far lower than where the competitive players land. Bad take.

I think the point is that it shouldn’t even be in there.
That would be fine for a solo game, go ahead and smell the roses. In a team based game, you are just being selfish.

Eh i disagree. I dont think players should have max level gear because they chain run 2s to farm valor.
My personal opinion that is an awful system.

I like the score. It adds progression aside from gear, and I personally feel more invested in raising my score than just gearing.
Even if the in-game score were removed, we’d still have Raider IO.
