I am a clicker!

And I’m over here fishing and questing with all 4 hotbars keybound, using an Azeron, and a mouse with some dozen buttons. Also setting up macros for abilities, and gear swaps.

I may be a retired Raider, but man it shows.

The real question for clickers is, are you using the stock UI? As in, you don’t move your bars closer to the center or anything? If that is you, then I am both in awe and utter disbelief.

is this the famous ralph guy i heard about? lol
:cherries:

I’m a half-clicker when I heal. Yes, I know I CAN use the F keys to target party members, but I hate the idea of someone dying because I hit the wrong F key because my fingers are not all that well trained to reach up to the F keys quickly like that. So I use the hotkeys with the keyboard and target by clicking the targets on the party frames.

Now, in FFXIV, I always put the tank in the 2nd slot under myself, so my fingers know how to go to F2 fast because I’m so used to doing it over there, but for some inexplicable reason, WoW does not (AFAIK?) let you re-arrange or at least specify you want the tank at the top of the list.

Watched a clicking hunter solo anduin mythic, I couldn’t do it, enjoy your game, find your own limits.

8 keyboards and 12 mouses later…
Show some respect for your tools.
Grab a can of whipits and sani wipes!

Omg… gives me an idea for a slow mo sensual youtube video of a gamer cleaning off his tools before starting up a game.

High quality garbage is in this head of mine and i want it out!

Na pretty sure you just “think” you’re doing ok but in reality you’re wallowing in an invisible and endless sea of mediocrity.

Using stock UI no add ons. Bare as bare can get lol

OP or other clickers, do you lock your hotbars? If not, how do you not accidentally drag stuff off your bars when clicking?

I’m not really a clicker, only a half clicker and only while healing, but yes, I always keep my hotbars locked.

If I NEED to move something, I can shift+click and drag. I can’t imagine ever not locking hotbars even if I’m not healing/clicking, simply because I have hotbars off to the side with stuff like flight style, grand yak, OOB rez, 60min buff spells, etc that I click when needed.

I click only when healing. I wish the default UI could be anywhere near as good as Vuhdo/Healbot/Clique make it for that purpose.

My friend clicks her spells and turns with the cursor keys. It’s a recipe for disaster.

I use WASD for forward/back/strafe and click to target with healing spells, and turn with the arrow keys and it works fine. Been doing it for years.

You just have to learn how to move appropriately.

EDIT: And I play FFXIV the same way, and FFXIV has way more movement in boss fights.

You pay your own sub, so if you want to click, click your way to victory.

Same thing with using weak auras, addons or modifying your base UI.

Until you get into higher content, who cares?

I am a clicker!

Pokes you nonstop for 24 hours straight just to hear you make clicking noises

I aint getting you in my 15s

dangit. 26 toons are named “Clicker” and 1 guild on Argent Dawn as well.

Just when you think you might have an original idea…

I have them locked, if I need to move them holding shift unlocks them. I know folks say it’s not the way to go, I enjoy it so. Oh well, it’s a game. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I’ve never had this issue. When I was raiding I didn’t even have dbm. The bosses would always say a certain phrase before they did a mechanic and that is what I listened for.

…I miss those days. Those were some good raids.

Oh no, some sweaty is boasting how we’ll never end up in HIS group.

Meanwhile I’m over here chuckling at the narcissism that makes him think that I would want to be in a group with such players in the first place.

I play the game for fun, not to treat it as a 2nd job, and I wouldn’t want to be around sweaties to begin with.

It’s bad enough I’ll see vastly over-geared people in the weekly dungeon should I choose to do it (last couple times I used followers instead to avoid this issue), and they always try to act like a big shot, pulling the whole dungeon at once (or at least as much as they can) and just disregarding the rest of the group and in general acting like jerks.

No thanks.

You guys can go sit in your special little treehouse far, far from the rest of us. We’re happier that way.
