How is it entitlement saving gold for months and months to purchase something? like if dragonflight came out then 5 days after release they made the game free there would be riots. its just so few have the drake so everyone is cheering it on for being free.

I used to have 2 Swift Spectral Tigers, back when mounts were specific to a character.
When the account-wide mount feature was introduced, I âlostâ one of them. Didnât care, though, and didnât ask for anything in return.

It wasnt cheap for 4 expansions it was briefly cheaper in WOD but gold inflation hadnt gone of until afterwards anyway. It was cheap to todays gold standards but not then.

I just assume when anyone says Black Market AH it means gold cap or pretty close to gold cap. I donât care either way. I canât feel sad or pity for those who wasted tons of gold or cash for a virutal cosmetic and i canât feel happy or well for those that are getting it now. I just simply donât care as there is almost no value in having it. TBH with WoW going further downhill all the money and time spent on this game will eventually mean nothing other than fond / bad memories once the servers shut down cause nothing lasts forever.

I mean i literally got mine in mop for 100k and ppl i know got it in cata for the same. Saw others on this forum say 250k in cata. that covers 3 with wod and i remember seeing it in legion for less than a mil.
either way that 3k USD figure is made up nonsense for 99% of people that own it and the only ppl spending that 3k were probably mostly streamers anyway. so ironically theyre gonna be the ones getting funnelled the microtransactions
