I Almost played tonite, But then I got to Korthia, and took a minute to loot each chest as I was running by on the way to the quest I was headed too, then a rare I Might have hit once or twice cuz the lag, my actions wouldnt work, then took 30-45 seconds to loot that guy, Almost to the quest I had to do and said, Wait what If I cant kill this guy because of the lag? I decided against it.
My Life is too busy for this nonsense, I Only get a handfull of hours a week to play, I Have a 1 year old, if she wants my attention or play time, she gets it. She went to bed early tonite. Oh well I thought Id give it a shot to get a few things done tonite. I Just came back from a 3 month break, It all just so annoying As a 2004 Vet, Been here since the beginning, Severely disappointed in this.
The lag was bad in Korthia tonight. It would clear up for a while, and then the lag would return. I imagine it had something to do with a lot of people logging on at one time after maintenance, but I don’t know. Just guessing.
The lag was pretty bad on patch day a week ago. But it cleared up and I didn’t experience any more until tonight.
Give it another shot tomorrow, if your little one goes to bed early again. 
I logged in for the first time since last Wed and went to the new World Boss. Entire screen froze to lag. No mechanics from boss. Just standing there. Watched his health bleed out over five minutes of no one moving. Got gold. Thought about going to Korthia. Realized I had not one bit of desire to even accept a quest to do. Done for the week again. I am happy some folks are enjoying it, but the game seems to have lost its magic for me over the past year. I turned my auto renew off for the first time in more than 11 years.
There’s nothing to be disappointed about. Good for you for having your priorities in order. I think too many of us care about the game more than we should.
Having a family is infinitely more rewarding than whatever a video game can provide. I’m sorry you’re not having fun in the new zones but compared to what you have in life, you’re not missing much
If your time is valuable, and it sounds like it is, you should know better than to waste it trying to fight patch/launch day MMOs in general.
