Like I main MW and in frustration have tried every other Healer spec in the game hoping to find a new main including the honorary healer at this point Blood DK but I always end up coming back to my Monk 
Yeah! I have a love/hate relationship with monk. I’ve mained it for 10 years at this point, and anytime I try another class, I always end up right back at monk. I dislike all the issues that we have, but thoroughly enjoy a lot of class aspects, which makes it feel even worse about the state of the class, especially windwalker.
I would say the same. And I would also say there’s some immature part of me that enjoys playing a class no one else does lol. FotM people really annoy me. Like, remember when you couldn’t step outside without tripping over a retribution paladin?

Blizz knows monk is in a bad way. Do they ? im pretty sure their not looking at us at all. Look at recent patch 6% overall buff that what 9k dps which is a joke we are FAR BEHIND that an small 6% wont change anything were left in dust being bench or forced to Reroll to be able to raid mythic if you aim for CE. Im being Told i inhale to much Copiums since i Dont wish to reroll and stick to my love of ww 
I think they do, yes, haha. Despite what the forums likes to proclaim, the devs DO communicate, and they DO make changes we request. It’s just the human tendency to remember the negative and never the positive. That said, because of how vocal we are, i’m confident they do know.
I think it’s just a matter of finding a solution. From what I understand, Monk doesn’t have a dev. If true, that alone is an issue. Maybe they’re trying to fill that role so a monk rework is incoming, but a buff for now is all they can do.
I do realize that it’s had issues for a few expansions now, but again, our complaints have been targeted individually. Like the issue with ToK in BfA, etc.
I think at this point they’re like, “okay, small spot touches aren’t going to work anymore. We need to placate them until we know what to do with this” lol.

but if they were listening they would add another buff before tuesday because 6% is nothing most monk i spoke to were expecting atleast 12% because like you said we all know monk ww doesnt have a dev so a Rework or talent revamp is kinda out of the line of sight for the moment . But were pretty much the only class at 480ilvl that struggle even to hit 190-200k dps st. we all understand we cant all be top spec but The gaps is just to big right now even avg spec st the gaps is there. i think they went wrong by introducing augment mid expension all their effort went there to balance it
That i do agree with, lol. 6% just makes us competitive with our last week’s selves, no one else haha. I’m hoping these notes aren’t final, they’re just a “as we see it right now”-kinda thing. And hopefully before tuesday they inch it up some more.
that said, i noticed retribution paladin didn’t get any anything at all, which is also odd… given in ST raids they’re quite down there with monks lol.
yeah if only we could like get maybe a dev Note acknowledging us that we need rework or talent revamp atleast we could see light at the end of the tunnel but their radio silence and giving us Buff that change nothing at all. They always go wrong by trying to force auto attack on us like tier bonus ea tier xD even thunderfist talent its sad its not usefull in aoe it would help us a bit
their isnt as bad but yeah they might be low compared to some other melee but at sametime their gonna have a legendary weapon which gonna help i think their scare to buffing them. I still wonder when surv/feral/ww gonna see a legendary weapon like a polearm xD
i don’t mind the tier set bonus, it’s not my favorite, but i don’t mind it, but i do find it odd that it is what it is, because it’s almost like an admittance that they know the class is fundamentally broken lol. It’s so … unflavorful. “Here is a damage bonus to your black out kick” … okay… or just buff the damage to blackout kick and give the tier set something with pizazz lol.
Idk. Idk! Idk. I know the devs get millions of notifications a day, etc., and I don’t blame them. And maybe they’re scared to give a false promise, or false hope. Idk. But i think at this point even a blue post saying, “We hear y’all, and we are working on it,” would be beneficial, you’re not wrong.
I always feel like this. I end up burning myself out pugging on my monk because I love the theme and want to main it sooooo badly -BUT- it doesn’t have the kit other players want in a teammate. Whenever it does get something like the crazy hps recently, it gets nerfed immediately and ends up in a bad spot again.
But yes, it would be nice to hear at this point from the devs that they know the class is suffering and really needs a complete redesign. Just some hope, ya know?
I love monk. I hate what keeps being done to it.
MW is the most fun spec in the game imo.
I agree with you here totally. It’s my favourite to play too. The lack of development for it bums me out.
