what would pair up with them tho? theres often a batch of two in allied races.

I mean the most obvious choice is the edgy vampires.
Kyrians are up there too, but I’d rather people get the vampire theme they have been asking for (though they aren’t really Sanlayn but 
) than the blue humans.

Yeah someone made a Youtube video last month showing all of the hairstyle, hair color, skin color, pattern, and horn options they have. They have the amount of options and detail that most playable races have.
I can 100% see them going to Alliance sine the entire Ardenweald Questline revolves around Ysera, Tyrande, the Night Warrior, Teldrassil burning, rescuing the Kaldorei souls from the Maw, etc. I don’t see the Nature-soul race going Horde after the Horde burned down a World Tree and all of the nature/life forms on it.
I think the Venthyr are also 100% going to be a Horde Race, especially with Mr. Bloodelf being there.

Ally get Werewolves, I’ve been hoping for a long time that Horde could get Vampires to balance the scales.
I hope they go Alliance if they do.
But I find weird seeing inmortal races of the afterlife coming to the hell that can be Azeroth.

Yup, Faun will go Alliance and Venthyr will go Horde. It is way too obvious.
The interesting question is whether Kyrian and Necrolord will choose sides. I can see the Maldraxxus Gladiators finding a natural fit on the Horde, as strength and honor seem to be big for them. Kyrians meanwhile are obviously a heavily light-based race which would fit into the fantasy of the Alliance. Also they’re literally blue colored.
If this did happen, we’d see Blue + Green going to the faction that has Blue + Green, and we’d see Red + Black going to the faction that has Red + Black. Seems like a natural thematic divide. The problem I see is this is going to tilt some folks so hard. Imagine playing a Venthyr Void Elf Rogue Alliance side, and then being betrayed by your own Covenant as they went to Horde. Or you play a Kyrian Blood Elf Paladin Horde side, and then being betrayed by your own Covenant as they went Alliance. That’s going to feel really bad.

Every race in the Shadowlands is just a different take on death. They’re not light so much as they’re just valkyries and angels. Which just fit with Avenging Wrath and Ancient Kings.
Yeah. That’s why I think they’re going to go with the neutral route. Besides, if I remember correctly Thrall, Baine, and Jaina are just sitting around inside the emissary room with all the banners.
