On the screen it says 250k gold for a full heroic carry. Now I’m not sure if that’s per boss or like for the them to carry you thro the whole raid. Also not sure if that’s just like so you can get the achievement or you get gear as well.
I just thought this was kind of crazy. I know it’s been extremely common since the beginning of wow but still blows my mind. Especially if it’s for the gear too.

I didn’t see anything on the screen about carries, I just used a link on wowhead to TeamLiquid? No idea.
The carry thing is why they should just let bad players do tedious content and earn gear. It can be a “world set” that gives bonuses on the overworld but is bad for raiding so mythic players don’t feel forced to go get it.
I will pay $15 for the opportunity to earn my own gear but I don’t really want to buy a carry. It defeats the purpose.
It would appear so. I’m sure all the guilds are doing it but to put it in the twitch screen seems sus
That’s how mythic raiding works. Argus the Unmaker was a 600 pull boss, back in Legion.
Mythic raid fights are hard. VERY hard.
If I understand correctly it’s them paying gold to other people to join and give up any gear to the raiders who need it, not having to pay for the carry

Literally, it’s just a stun show for marketing streamers, gaming companies and such. Look at Maximum, he doesn’t even want to be there, he does it only for the money, I can’t blame him, but it’s obvious. I watched for 20 minutes and the whole raiding vibes of Team Liquid was looking so artificial and not real.
It’s how they fund their raiding I think.

I mean if I get the gear paying $15 for a smooth heroic clear is worth far more to me than the $15 bucks and I’m not sure how it wouldn’t be the same for anyone. After a lot of raid/dungeon declines this seems tempting tbh
