I never rejected anything for fury. I agree that their damage is trash, and I somewhat feel bad for them, but at the same time its kind of hard to feel bad for a class that has always performed exceptionally well than any other class at either PvE or PvP, or both. Not to mention the mentality of most DPS warriors is super cringy and they’re the most loot hungry class outside of DK players.
Sad thing is Enhance would be great, they just get screwed by itemization. In Ulduar their BIS mainhand in a lot of instances is a 100 dps 1.8 speed mace and a slow OH, when they benefit from slow sync’d weapons… but after wraith strike they just don’t exist anymore for some reason.
You sound like a leatherboi who lost an item to a warrior lol. I’d give it to a leather class in most instances, but BIS is BIS.
No, it was not for the 90th-95th percentile. It was square in the middle. And then scaled up a bit due to bloated Ulduar HM ilvl’s.
This is also only the third raid night we’ve even had the changes live, we’ll see how the numbers look after a solid week or two and a larger sampling of ferals has had a chance to contribute. Which will be more likely to include the people not one shotting hard modes.
Its not just me, and its just not leather. Warriors have been taking gear from every other DPS class since Classic’s reboot. I’ve seen multiple warriors with Journey’s End in their offhand before the titans grip fix.
Just greedy little zergbrains. TBH hunters aren’t much different, but most of them just lack the brain power or common sense.
I honestly do not feel bad for warriors in general. Tired of seeing nothing but crybaby brown bars the last 3 years, and seeing less of them during wrath (though replaced with red bars) has been quite nice. I don’t look forward to see the hundreds of warriors spamming ‘inv’ every time I say i’m looking for caster dps for X dungeon/raid.
/shrug I’m literally looking at last week pre buff and it was not square in the middle of 90th percentile.
We never took from cloth dps in Classic, just cloth healers.
I’m starting to think Blizzard should buff Warriors just to counter the clear and obvious strong anti Warrior bias in the community …
Another case in which MMOs can give sociologists insights into rl communities … “how tribalism works”.
Edit: on the other hand, every buff a non Warrior gets is Blizzard wiping a little tear from a non Warriors cheek - carry on Bliz.
lol lets just buff our dps untill the game is so damn ez we just blast thru it. Every class does not need equal DPS or equal utility.
Maybe look into the type of player that insists on playing the ‘derp derp big swords’ trope in MMO’s.
I won’t be mad if PvE gets buffed. If it effects PvP i’ll be quite angry and they’re already obscenely broken.
The point of PvE is to kill bosses as a group, is it not? Not sure why you’re so mad over feral buffs when it literally helps you kill stuff and get your purps.
No but it also doesn’t hurt anything if they’re all relatively on par.
Yeah definitely agree. Warriors are wrecking balls in PVP currently - and only get more so.
then ideally we would be nerfing the top end not buffing the bottom
Why?..
I like the game harder not easier.
Overall is skewed by Hodir and Kologarn which both aren’t the best fights to do damage as a Feral. Vezax also tends to inflate caster numbers, but Feral was always one of the stronger melee on that fight and right now is the best.
For some people the game is just a loot dispenser …
Vezax also tends to inflate caster numbers, but Feral was always one of the stronger melee on that fight and right now is the best.
Vezax also dips Warriors disproportionately lower due to the double whammy effect the lower damage has on rage generation. So much of Ulduar is hard to balance around because almost every encounter has a quirk.
It’s hard to see how Blizzard could make any sound data driven balance changes from data in this phase.

So what you’re saying is that different specs perform differently on different fights… weird…
And hilariously enough Feral performs extremely well (top 3, sometimes top 5) in all of them except for Kologarn, Vezax and Hodir. And if you filter only for melee it is now the best or 2nd best spec for almost every fight excluding the gimmick ones.
Meanwhile with similar filtering before the buff they were soundly in the upper middle of the pack.
