Yep - the buff essentially removes the complexity. This removes depth of gameplay. Not a good result imo.
If they made Rend work in Zerker stance I’d be unhappy as weaving stances gives good players a way to separate themselves from the crowd - reward for effort. So, I have the same view about Feral Bearweaving. Just like I thought Seal twisting was good.
Classic gameplay shouldn’t be dumbed down.
People that are complaining about feral buff makes me lol. We were supposed to be an S-Tier DPS spec going into wrath. Blizzard applied this as a hotfix because FFF wasn’t proccing OOC at all, and was supposed to. Go look at literally any of the DPS Tier lists pre-WOTLK Classic - Ferals were supposed to be S-Tier.
We are where we should be now, even though I’ll admit the FFF proccing 100% of the time feels a bit janky, at least our DPS is where it should be.

Noone is “supposed to be S tier”.
Blizzard shouldn’t be buffing classes to fit over inflated expectations and poor predictions.
This goes for Warriors too. Suck it up princess.
And Blizzard should revert the buff.
The case for Ret was that they were falling below the bottom of the viable specs. This is not the Feral case. Feral were just not doing as well as they were expecting - diddums. Same with Warriors.

It removed some gimmicks from it but it’s still one of the most complex rotations. It’s just now being properly rewarded 
It’s almost like maybe they shouldn’t have been making changes to classes, because people will complain no matter what they do.
There’s some people who just can’t be happy when someone else gets something nice.

There is always an S-tier, and thats whoever is doing top DPS>
We all know warriors are going to pump in ICC gear, theirs is coming. Ferals were supposed to pump from the beginning and stay competitive throughout the expansion.
…because OOC wasn’t proccing on FFF like its supposed to.
At least warmane has the correct OOC tooltip and functionality, as did original WOTLK.
Yeah but noone is entitled to it dude. It’ll wash out the way it washes out.
Not with the current models. They’ll be upper average and hit A tier with Shadowmourne (if they get prio on it).
BTW “we all know Warriors will pump” is the same justification used for Feral to get their buff. “We were meant to pump”! No you weren’t. The predictions were off - suck it up.

Probably because there’s specs that have bigger performance issues that get absolutely nothing while a mid tier spec with very good scaling gets a massive buff for absolutely no good reason.
If Warriors, Shadow Priests and so on have to accept that they won’t top the meters no matter how hard they try, why should others get buffed to match whatever Warmane predictions people might’ve made?
There’s some people who just can’t be happy when someone else gets something nice.

No. The change was to get rid of “unintended” mechanics such as flowerweaving. Not because Feral was underperforming because it by far wasn’t. There was 0 reason to randomly buff an already solid spec like this, and begs the question what about other outliers such as Fury Warriors, Arms Warriors, Shadow Priests or Destruction Warlocks as they also have often much heavier throughput shortcomings - thus requiring a fix.
None of this also touches the simple fact that Ferals in their current state are projected to outscale every other spec going into late TotC and ICC, while before the buff they’d be strong top tier contenders already.
A competitive spec gets buffed for absolutely no reason while ones that are actually underpefroming are left to rot, why?

I actually can’t. My level 80 avatar has been bugged for months and Bliz can’t seem to fix it. Logging out of all accounts and logging back in doesn’t fix it.
Either way I’m not trolling - I think the buff was over done. Disagreeing is not trolling - deal with it.
