There are so many classes with better burst and defensives as us. I’m actually not enjoying DH as much as I thought I would. I mainly wanted to talk in pvp but bears seem to do that better too. Idk I’m not seeing the hype

Same. Only having nearly useless proc based heals does nothing to save you from being mowed down in arena. Blur does absolutely NOTHING when I press it. I dare to say it’s never saved my life not even once. Bottom line I’m not enjoying it either as much as I hoped I would. The defense is pretty awful…and I keep hearing Bliz is getting ready to gut DH damage to the ground. So idk?!! Trying to decide if I want to continue leveling a DH or not?

Compared to what other classes or able to do in PVP, in the way of sustainability, utility and healing…DH is very lacking. Other classes just do it better. There is very little reason to want to bring a DH into a match. (After the damage nerfs come down there will be NO reason)

dh is only op in pvp because people let them run wild uncheck. cc them, stun them, etc etc and then they fall over easy. dh “defensive power” is purely leech since blurr is a meme of a defensive.

Rogues have been OP in pvp since vanilla. I don’t see this many people crying about it on a daily basis for 18 yrs on wow forums

Blur is bugged in PvP and actually does more. Go hit a PvP dummy and use blur, you’ll have like 96% dodge chance.
To add to defensives, glimpse is great, mobility, darkness, netherwalk, fodder, leech, shards from chaos strike. There’s a lot…

then thats a bug not a reason why a spec should be nerfed into oblivion
also you have to sacerfice a spot for glimpse, mobility means nothing with slows, cc, and stuns (coming from the wheelchairclass) darkness is a meme cause yo ucan force em out by just running away, you have to give up some damage for netherwalk, fodder is probably the only good one you listed and its rng, leech again can be stomped with stuns and cc’s, and again chaos strikes can get stomped with stuns and cc’s.
the only thing you have to worry about for havoc in arena, is glimpse, blurr, and fodder. but again all of this is pointless because DH melts when they cant attack/heal
