Sylvanas is going to “die” and her evil souls will split apart and the good high elf will emerge. She will rejoin the alliance.
Anduin will be forever a death knight or whatever he is now. He will end up being the next leader of the forsaken. Mark my words. It will happen

Given how slipshod WoW’s writing currently is, he might not be wrong.

The “WoW’s writing bad, so this insane crap could happen” spiel is old and tired.

It may be old and tired, and his theory may be crazy, but that doesn’t make either of us wrong.

It’s a nothing statement to justify a stupid theory with “it COULD happen.” Yeah, no shoot Sherlock, Sylvanas COULD explode tomorrow, but the could of it doesn’t give it any credence.

Could you imagine the meltdown if Sylvanas joined the Alliance?

No, they’ll just give Sylvanas a pass on everything and let her rejoin the Horde, since everyone in Azeroth is so forgetful, there won’t be any complications.

Would actually like it if she did.
Mostly because it would be better than whatever blizzard will do with her.
High Elf Sylvanas would never join the Horde. After seeing that the Horde commits the same crimes that Arthas did to her and her people? Only bad writing would make her do it.
I would be interested to see her see all the things a “Part of her” did. Then again I dont recall much of sylvanas personality when she was alive other than “F*** off arthas”
I mean assuming the whole “Split personality stuff” is true.
I wonder how the story would treat the fact that a clone of her would have gone on to spearhead all of that, though. It’s kinda hard to deflect with “I would never do such a thing” when a version of her came up with all of it in the first place.

I’d actually like that more than if she joined the Horde, simply because it would probably mean she’d try to help the victims of her previous actions. Both options are of course flaming garbage, but one is better than the other.
Why would the general ranger sylvanas join the few alliance traitor instead of the people she died fighting for???
Alliance player expecting everything to belong to them is sometime insane.
I guess it depends on which side of the faction divide you subscribe to.

She fought for the High Elves.
I bet she’d want to join the Horde that commited a genocide equal even worse than what Arthas did to her people.
Her sisters are also Alliance.
On her orders.
If the game really does bring her other side back, I think it’d be a huge disappointment if that’s not confronted. I feel that plenty of people shouldn’t care if she’s some long-lost split personality, because she’s cut from the same cloth that went on to hurt so many.

That would be a first.
Idk I don’t think her good side will return. Either her fully evil side gets a pass and returns to the Horde, or her half-evil side gets a pass and returns to the Horde.
I find both equally bad.
In my opinion, it shouldn’t be treated as a good side or bad side in the first place, otherwise things get even weirder. What determines which is the good or bad half? It can’t be because of which part Frostmourne kept, because that means it would have been Uther’s good side that sidestepped the arbiter and helped rebel against Bastion.
