Nah, we have gnomes and they’re the best and cutest. Everyone else is OK, like level 1, but gnomes are level 8.
There was an actual effort in retaking it. That was the cataclysm pre-event for the Alliance.
It’s been retaken as far as lore is concerned. It’s also irradiated, but that’s beside the point.
The Alliance is simply not in the business of recovering lands. They are terrible at it.
They weren’t able to retake Gilneas either. Or Tarren Mill. Or Southshore. Or Theramore. Or the Plaguelands. Or Lordaeron.
And then there’s the little detail that EVERY place I mentioned is nuked and uninhabitable.
That doesn’t mean anything. I mean, the Warchief is considered an Orcish thing. And has dominantly been ruled by Orcs.
No, cause NE are kinda snotty
Yes and while there used to be tensions, those have recovered very quickly. There are still conflicts with outside members though.
You can say the Horde is the same, Orc (or recently Forsaken) and Friends. It cuts both ways.
Have you seen Anduin? He literally has light rainbows coming out of his eyes and every other orifice of his body.
On a serious note. I think there will always be people who are inherently racist (like IRL). But in WoW, there’s more evidence pointing to Kor’kron supporting Orcs being racist with the entire Garrosh episode. He literally did stuff that would put Garithos to shame lmao.
That does make recovery slightly difficult.
I disagree with this one. That’s just my personal opinion though. Having played on both sides, I feel like this is much less applicable to Horde.
By the Horde even.
So it’s not that the Alliance is bad at reclaiming places. The Horde is just to good at rendering them unclaimable.
Goblins are literally second class citizens.
Touché.
They were under Garrosh’s regime. They’re not anymore.
Yes it does, the High King is the Supreme ruler in the Alliance. He oversees everything and dictates what the Alliance will do or not.
The Horde has ditched the Warchief status and is now moving towards a Council of leaders.
The Once great Orcish Horde Empire is over and will probably be called something else now, like the United States of the Horde or something to that effect. Will probably create something stupid like a Constitution and give everyone equal rights and crap, SMH.
Under Garrosh they were slaves… or rather under indentured servitude. In today’s Horde they aren’t trusted by anyone. Even post-Galliwix.
He is the Military commander. He is NOT the civilian commander.
Moira doesn’t have to ask permission to handle internal dwarf affairs. She may inform him of what’s going on, but that’s a matter of courtesy. But she doesn’t need his permission.
The High King is the supreme military commander in the Alliance. He oversees their military actions and that’s all.
Every nation governs their domestic affairs on their own.
If Alliance races are equal, humans are definitely more equal than others.
Says who? Gazlow has a high influence throughout the Horde after taking over, and that’s shown when other people listen to him as he goes through talking about how we have to unite and such. I’d like some proof of your stance on this one. Something that says canonically no one trusts the goblins.
If he oversees all military action then he pretty much has the power to dictate to others and has the political clout to be a big voice in affairs. Common sense bud
Example:
“No Tyrande, the Alliance will not help you, pound sand” - Anduin Wyrnn
