I understand that Blizzard probably thought it was a good idea to add some OP items to Mechagon, so people would feel incentivized to run it outside of the essences/mounts, but why in the world would they have an item specifically for fire mages that class balance seems to be balanced around?

These bracers sim 2k higher than the Bindings of the Herald at 455 with socket. Besides them being completely broken, they’re tied to a weekly lockout - I’ve been putting together cloth stack groups and bonus rolling for these for four weeks and I haven’t had any luck. As someone who raids at a high level, it’s very frustrating to not be able to keep up with other dpsers simply because I’m missing these bracers and the situation being completely out of my control.

Equip a pair of Benthics and use CLF R3 and you will see much less of a difference for ST. Should narrow the gap almost entirely as long as you don’t require the burst DPS from Lucid Major.

I highly doubt they intended it for fire specifically LOL, it just worked out that way cause I also don’t think they expected BlasterMaster to have such a resurgence as well with Memory of Lucid Dreams.

I’m torn between thinking it was intended for fire mages or it was just supposed to be a completely useless item and all mage specs were supposed to be dumpster tier again.

Well I don’t think blizzard knew Lucid Dreams was going to work so well for Fire mage as it turned out to be either. I also dont think Warcraftlogs .com is accurately showing Frost mages with Condensed Rank 3 yet.

My life in Legion as a fire mage for 6+ months.

I just simmed the bracers in my fire spec, and the dps was a few points behind my socketed 420 benthic.

With rank 3 memory of the lucid dream? It was 2.2k for me before I switched to CLF.

You must not have 3BM. They out sim my socketed 455s
