Bringing back Hyperthread wristwraps is a bit troll for M+ vault because it became a fire mage specific piece. Giving these to a warlock in their vault would be kind of feelsbad.
And also forcing fire mages to farm it isn’t good for the broader community too, because some might never get it on a 678 ilvl for vault. The piece is too specific so I highly suggest we just remove it from the game, and then balance fire mages around their spec and not bracers.
The item is too specific.
Thanks!
PS, sometimes I still have a forum bug where I can’t swop characters or I’d post this on my mage LOL.
You don’t need it at max ilvl. Cresting up the heroic version from end of dungeon is fine. Mythic version doesn’t increase the on use like other items, and the on use is the power lvl, not the few int difference between heroic and mythic.
it increases the ilvl, and thus int. So for players who want the ilvl completion each tier, thats an issue.
Also, I know people who’ve run the dungeon on heroic 40+ times and have never seen it.
I ran it tons of times on my mage and never seen it. But I dont want them anymore. Going to main frost with the changes on reset.
That’s an issue for all players and classes, especially M+ only players. Everyone has to hope the dungeon item they want shows up in the vault.
Lots of classes want max level of S tier trinkets from dungeons and vault gods are your only option. And max level trinkets are much more of a priority over these bracers as the max level trinket power level increases significantly more.
That was not the point of the post. It’s about this item potentially taking up a vault slot for cloth classes that have zero use for it .

Man I get those bracers a lot but I can’t get the staff to drop for me.
it’s always when your hoping for it to drop, it just won’t!
Seems like you stopped reading the original post a bit too early. I’ll give you a minute to read it all. It’ll be helpful for our conversation.
It sounds like you don’t have common sense. Go read it yourself one more time. It will be good for our conversation.
I may not have common sense but I do have reading comprehension. If the OP wants to bring up multiple arguments I have a right to only discuss the one I want to.
His argument about too specific is weak, so I ignored it. Most classes only want certain items. Again, using trinkets, the lock might open vault and see a bunch of trinkets that are bad for his class so he doesn’t get what he needs. It’s just a weak argument nuff said.
Thank you! Yes, the point was that. Locks and Priest getting this in their first mythic vault or any vault slot. And either way its also a weird, hard to farm, BiS item for fire due to fire blast starvation.
Doesn’t the same argument hold true for any piece that isnt a bis piece? If I get the worst trinket from the mythic plus pool in my vault as a myth piece, isn’t that a wasted slot and therefore shouldn’t be allowed?
