Yes, but loot caps at 8.

So 11 is for bragging only. It doesn’t give you an advantage, much to the contrary. If you want to get gear as easy as possible, it’s better to avoid 11s and stick to 8s.

OP is saying that if you have the gear, skill, and correct class … you can solo vaults at a +8, and in a +12 you can go with a “dedicated-healer”-less group compositing. Insinuating those are your only two options, or rather it reads as if that’s the point they want to make that you only have two options and thus…

A diverging path of (only) two options.
