Hype Train, Delusional Thinking

Fallout 76 Beta- Oct. 23rd 2018
Fallout 76 Release- Nov. 14th 2018

I know this is a stretch but MMOs do release less than month after a beta is released. I get so hyped thinking about a sooner rather than later WoW Classic release. I'm sure others get the same way. I will get called a troll or be belittled by a entitled WoW enthusiast who "thinks he knows what he/she is talking about" but this thread is for the people that think WoW will be released sooner rather than later :D
I hope we'll get a beta Q1-Q2 2019.
Ya and the Beta barely works properly, I'm worried about how the game will release knowing Bethesda's track record.

Betas have been more like marketing tools than actual testing time nowadays, or an excuse to not fully create a game but still get money from it (Looking at you PUBG and DayZ).
Demo > Release next day. Ty blizz!
Well Classic was announced 1 year ago, I doubt the demo is the only playable stuff they have right now.

I just hope they don't take too much time, right now I'm super hyped, but when they teill me this weekend there's nothing you can play until late 2019 the hype is gone, at least my hype.
I think we will be playing classic release in Q1 of next year. They started from scratch 10 months ago and look at where they are with the demo. They are not having to create new quests, boss fights, scale damage or work on terrain to keep us from falling through holes. There isn't an art team or class design team or dungeon/raid team.

That's just my take on it. We will not need a 3-6 month beta. We will need a few weekend betas to stress test or test specific things.
As long as it isn't the November 2019 doomsday scenario I'll be happy.
If this demo was actually a beta I could see it being done in a month. But it's a demo, not even an alpha. We've got a long wait unfortunately.

Maybe they will give us an alpha date at blizzcon.

Yea, lets compare a company like Bethesda, who up to this point have never done a beta for their games and while admittedly have buggy games.with a company like Bohemia Interactive
who tried to Sue the owners of other games over a frying pan by going to a backwater court in Korea to skirt local laws.you should really educate yourself on the difference between a beta, alpha, demo and ''early access'' stupidity.

What is it with you people on this forum, do blizzard games just attract the most Bigoted jack wagons on the planet?, all you people do is generalize and hate monger.

I'd bet a dollar there won't be an alpha. They aren't creating a new game.
Wouldn't a playable demo be further down the development cycle than a beta? Anyway as long as it isn't the November 2019 doomsday scenario I'll be happy.

Beta implies the game is done and they are testing for bugs/playability

They outright told us they aren't even close to done yet so it's reasonable to believe these are the only 2 fully working zones they have.

Not really. WoW classic is a very awkward game though and it can't really be compared to any other 'game' release. In an actual game they could have the WHOLE game completed and release a demo of just a little bit. But with wow classic, they could have just worked on one zone or just be super confident in this zone enough to show to the public. This doesn't really mean they have even touched raids/bgs/honor systems or anything like that yet, which could need a beta once it is ready for one.

Honestly they could be already done or they could still need two more years to release classic because we don't really know what problems they will run into trying to cram old systems into a new foundation.

Possibly, they could also be doing what a lot of demos have done in the past and just make it inaccessible for hype reasons.

Name one mmo that released after a beta was released. By the way, we have no idea how far away Classic's beta is. Might be a year from now. And lastly...what does Fallout have to do with anything?
I know we're nerds for playing video games but who honestly speaks to people in terms of Qs.

Soon™
It will be released on 15th anniversary next year

To play devil's advocate, this isn't a 'new' mmo or an expansion by any means so really anything can happen

Fallout 76 is in beta right now, he's using that as a comparison to try and judge how far behind blizzard might be, but Bethesda and blizzard are two different company's, makes no sense to me.

You need reading comprehension skills, and I don't think you know what the word "bigot" means.

I wasn't comparing them, I was saying that betas aren't really betas anymore, they're marketing tools bundled with pre-order deals and sometimes so ridiculously close to release that bugs won't be caught.. DayZ was in early access for months, alpha for years, beta for years, and just got released. PUBG was considered pre-release for a very long time, and released in basicaly the same state it was in during "early access/alpha/beta" stages. Fortnite is STILL considered in Beta and getting monetized.
Fallout 76 isn't a MMO and what people are getting at Blizzcon isn't a beta.

They could always surprise us, but it seems rather unlikely for anything crazy like a November 2018 release.
