What do you think a Hyjal in Vanilla would have looked like? (if finished)
Elite Bears and Wisps? Skinning a bear here would aggro all bears in Hyjal?
The place was visually stunning and safe from Azeroth's creatures.
If the Gate in Winterspring were to be blown apart by a Goblin, what would you see?
I know exactly what Hyjal looked like in vanilla. I was there. It's completely void of life. It's an empty zone.
If you go there I'd recommend bringing a warlock and a few people with you. Have the lock cast unending breath on everyone and go to the world tree. Directly underneath the world tree is a very, very, very deep pool. Swim to the bottom with your group.
Now here comes the fun. Run a /who on your factions capital city and start whispering people telling them you're in Hyjal and it's super cool and you can summon them. They'll /who you and see that you're actually in Hyjal and they'll join your group. Summon them to the bottom of the very, very, very deep pool and let the lolz roll as the desperately try to swim to the top before inevitably drowning. They'll die and have no way to get back to their corpse seeing as there are no graveyards in Hyjal.
That'll show those fools to trust a stranger.

I went there during Vanilla and took some screenshots that are sadly lost now. Only thing that was really there was the big tree, the deep pool and a "Under Construction" sign.

The really deep pool still exists in the cataclysm version of hyjal.

Mhmm. But you can swim to the bottom now since your breath lasts like 10 minutes. Back in vanilla even undead didn't last that long underwater.

This is an interesting question.
I think blizz should bring the Hyjal raid into classic! Can you imagine those epic battles, wave after wave of bad guys? good times. It could be released at the same time as Naxx to give us a bunch of stuff to work on!

Last time I tried, you actually can't even with the longer breath. I had to use the Shifting Sands ring that let's you breath water to reach the bottom.
So you could, in theory, still use your method to kill people in live wow :D

I think blizz should bring the Hyjal raid into classic! Can you imagine those epic battles, wave after wave of bad guys? good times. It could be released at the same time as Naxx to give us a bunch of stuff to work on!

Kind of like asking what Lindsay Lohan would look like in 2004.
The actual answer is "hot." But you're asking us to plow through scuffed after scuffed layers of Lohan disfigurement over the years which resulted in her current state of blister-faced crack addict.
Except in Hyjal's case it's extreme phasing quests, new-race-Worgen shoutout quests, random Baron Geddon as quest mob, and further complete scuffdom which almost elicits vomit just attempting to imagine an alternative possibility.
I think it would have looked good though.

Perhaps. But the days of "Ooo!" and "Ahhh!" from the prospect of entering Mount Hyjal have long gone. That is, until summer 2019.

I was also in Hyjal and got a ticket for speeding. Not sure where they posted the radar gun but I was swiftly whispered and reported.. I remember people summoned a certain annoying rogue to the bottom of the lake as a funny joke.

Honestly I thought the Grim Batol was going to become a thing. The Entrance is literally set up. And much better than Kara.

i used to do a similar thing in the waters near the gurubashi arena. ask people in orgrimmar for help and then summon them into the bottom of an ocean. it's pretty ridiculous, looking back on it, but i was like 16 or 17 lol.
