Hurricane's Fall of the Lich king Trailer

Perfection.

You know I hear a lot of people railing on retail about it not feeling like Warcraft and while I do like the trailer, it doesn’t really feel Warcraft to me.

One of the people are wearing a hat that was added long after wotlk

Immersion ruined, 0/10

Hey, that was really cool seeing it from the point of view of a raid team like that. Not that raids are nearly that epic. But still. I really liked that. :upside_down_face:

Epic as hell as long as you don’t notice or care about the inaccurateies

Loved how many battles are going on in the Citadel, I shared the trailer with my brother.

We agreed that all of those fights appear to be wipes, lol. Especially on Putricide.

It reminds me of the Warcraft Rumble trailer. Too whimsical.

Which trailer doesn’t feel like Warcarft? :eyes:

What if raids were like this, just like hundreds of players at once lmao

It doesn’t strike me as whimsical, I think for me it has something to do with the animation style that is bugging me.

Everything feels like a miniature.

The one OP linked

Wow…I don’t get you but that’s Warcraft for me, it’s what I expected on cinematics for DF raids and We didn’t receive. Since, the one linked by OP is about the raid.

Maybe its about the art but I really like the actual we’re at war feeling :ok_hand:, I don’t feel like anything on SL/DF translate the feels created by Warcraft games before WoW ,specially WC3.

Huh, guess it’s subjective

Yeah, it made me think, “Is this what the devs imagine is happening in Azeroth?” which is pretty cool. I don’t think I ever thought about a legion of champions laying siege to these raid locations all at once, but if it was a real war, that’s exactly what would happen.

Still didn’t spot a Gnome or Goblin though :frowning:

You can still see the stiff character animations from the base game.

Can’t say it blows my socks off.

I think that was warfronts initial intent but they have to scale down.

The fights and the deaths looks legit to me in the vid.

A wipe at Saurfang because it stacked too many blood.
Tanks getting bursted at Sindragosa because didn’t hide behind the ice block.
Corpse pulling and dying at Putricide.
People vaporized in defiling pools at LK.

That was SIGNIFICANTLY better than what I was expecting. I greatly enjoyed seeing those raid bosses again, brought back a lot of memories (“BONESTOOOOOORM!”)

Can’t help but notice the Alliance spent a lot of screentime on the floor >;) Also I loved the volley of gunfire from the Horde at the end, like “yeah, swords, cute. OPEN FIRE!”

There wouldn’t be a goblin because they were not playable yet. But I do see a gnome in this trailer, fighting Sindragosa.

He’s a god amongst insects. Absolute perfection.

Love this guy’s work
