Huokan community getting ridiculous

Would be cool if they’d just give Boosting and Boosters there very own server. That way all the bads can sit around Org and show the achievements to one another all day and people that actually wanna play the game legit won’t have to risk getting grouped with them.

Nothing is going to be done about it. This is the state of WoW now. It is WoW. It’s how Blizzard generates a large chuck of it’s income from WoW. It’s why the president of Blizzard promotes it. At this point Blizzard should fill the in game store with everything, offer battle passes, and offer ad space in the game launcher for boosters.

I would pay more money to play on a server without boosters and the WoW token.

Thing is you are just arguing for the sake of it, I and others have told you time and time again why it is annoying. My god you must be the life of parties.

Considering nothing but spam and meaningless discussion happens in trade anyway, just leave the channel. Not the best solution, but it works. I don’t remember the last time I felt compelled to actually put something like, “BS LFW!”

Not on my realms, I don’t know what realm you play on. But my have actual trade or guild recruitments.

Having been part of the boosting community (different group, not Huokan), there are a staggering amount of people willing to pay gold to be carried through everything. I think people that actually play the game as it was intended are rare.

Staggering! So… twenty?

No, thousands. I did it for 3 patch cycles, made money hand over fist, I was being pinged for cloth stack/15 carries multiple times per hour, all hours of the day.

I see.

Just out of curiosity, did you ever ask any of them, “What on earth for?” (Or the equivalent.)

I asked a friend of mine who buys carries, his explanation was he had a lot of money but no free time and didn’t want to risk running groups where he would be abused. So he found it a much more pleasant experience just to have people do it for him. No stress. I suppose I can see where he’s coming from, but I just couldn’t ever bring myself to do it. I want to earn my accomplishments in game, as silly as that may sound to some.

What does he do with his character after paying somebody else to play it for him?

He farms old raids and mats to sell, he has like 6 hunters. He finds farming an enjoyable zen experience, raiding and keys are too stressful.

How baffling. If he was doing it so he could hoodwink other players, there would at least be a point. But paying other people to run him through content, then doing nothing afterwards but farm old raids… and then I suppose he pays people again next tier?

It’s like buying a dozen roses and putting them in the closet so that you don’t even get any usage out of them, then after they’ve spoiled you buy a dozen more and do the same thing again. I really don’t get it…

I’ve never beaten Civilization on Deity difficulty. I could pay somebody else to do it, but… why???

Yeah, I’m not sure what the point of it all is. I don’t understand what possesses people, honestly. Even the hoodwinking aspect, like you could buy a good mthic+ score but you’re gonna out yourself real quick as someone who doesn’t know wtf they’re doing, and that’s not gonna end well for anyone involved. BfA wiped out my gold reserves, so I wanted to build them back up and boosting was an easy way to do it. I always felt a bit dirty doing it though.

Lol unless you got screenshots dont spew lies.

Imagine thinking a large boosting community didn’t do rmt it’s practically assumed. You sound like a advertiser yourself trying to save face.

This is a common reason people turn to boosts. Why sit in a pug that you know will disband after the first wipe when you can just buy a boost? While RMT are not sanctioned by Blizzard, boosting is, so it has quickly become very mainstream. It is sad, but after having to deal with a raid group that allowed elitist members to corrupt it, I could see the attraction of buying runs.

It is sad that WoW has come to this. Raiding can be really fun when the group isn’t taken over by scum.

Nope if they offered me RMT I would have taken it in a heartbeat over gold. They never offered to do RMT with any boosters and I worked with a lot of them. So unless you got proof stop lyin

I understand the point you’re trying to make here. I do… but doesn’t that seam… odd to say something like that?

Edit: You literally could have removed that whole first line and the rest of your argument would have made sense without looking sus.

How about a Boosts channel which is different from Trade? And have an option to report ‘Using Wrong Channel’ when you right click someone?
