Why don’t hunters have their verson of conjured food? They’re hunters. They kill for their food and for glory. They should be able to share food with their party and raid.

That actually sounds kinda cool. Which is why it’ll probably never happen 
Adds to aesthetic of Hunters and would add more use to groups. We could create jerky that adds buffs based on the beast we killed.
Tenacity beast give a health boost, Ferocity give crit, and Tenacity a haste buff.
Could summon a little smoker that uses meat from our innovatory.

Yeah, it’s actually a great idea. When I did the Rexxar recruitment quest back in the legion order hall I thought it was really nice, class-fantasy wise, to have to “survive” in the wild.
There are many other RP elements that should be added (hunters should use leather instead of mail, for example) or brought back (hunters definitely should use/manage their ammo!), but I don’t think any of that is coming our way.
We had a glimpse of class fantasy in Legion, which was awesome: a class-specific mount (which even has a quiver and ammo pouch), unique weapon skins, unique quests… And now there’s the promised “depruning”, with the return of some skills such as kill shot and baseline hunter’s mark.
But I honestly don’t think we’ll go much further than that. Blizz doesn’t seem to be moving towards making classes really different and with unique elements…
