Why you wanting to kill levelers anyway, zugzug?

Now now don’t act like a zug zug is the only one that does that. I’ve seen many alliance during my main alliance days do the same.

PvE servers exist for a reason.
Even an average PvPer like me knows this.

I’m curious how this works, i.e. why are the pets marked as civilian? I thought only faction-aligned humanoid NPCs could be civilans.

The only thing I can think of is Olm the Wise who’s associated with Cenarion Circle

No DK I have tested this, civilian pets are just some kind of visual bug

I’ve seen a similar bug, with goblin guards. They appear red sometimes, but clicking on them makes them green and getting near doesn’t aggro.

Well theres the alt-tab bug where all targets are friendly until you hit tab a couple times.

Killing/griefing underleveled characters is hardly pve. It takes a certain type of person to not only have the free time to go out of their way to do it, but also gain satisfaction from it.

where did I say I was killing levelers, alliancel? I kill their pets.

When I got ganked leveling up, it’s what I signed up for, when I gank lowbies, I kill them once and leave. Alliance do the same exact thing that Horde do. Ever hear about Heartseeker and Earthfury servers?

Alliance retreated from Stalagg and Skeram because of Horde gank sqauds then formed their own on their new homes with horde toons that were still leveling. Just seems Horde players getting ganked on those two servers could care less.

I don’t understand the satisfaction in killing those who have no chance to fight back. I get if you are grinding honor, but outside of that it seems like a no life thing to do. Anyway i believe my post was about understanding why someone would roll on a pve server.

The satisfaction is killing someone until they come to the forums and make bad posts like this.

certain type of person? You can just call them a bully.

WPVP is WPVP.

Be it ganking or more fair. One of the largest enjoyments of WPVP has always been the lack of fairness and that’s both ways.

I have enjoyed ganking numerous times as well as being the low level finding ways to avoid being ganked and if possible make the ganker look like an idiot.

Heck earlier in classic I was nonstop ganking the farm area in Hillsbrad on my 26 feral druid just to get higher level responses and try to avoid them getting me. Loads of fun.

If you want to talk about “a certain type of person” or as someone called “a bully” then maybe look to those who actually sit there and camp lowbies for no reason at all or even those who care less and kill the same person over and over etc.

I would say likely the power trip.

The ability to piss someone off and watch them try to respond and fail. I think it’s why I get more enjoyment from avoiding and making gankers look like idiots as a lower level simply because it takes outsmarting them and using your own tools much better than simply ganking lower levels.

Like for one instance. I had a mounted (40+)Tauren druid respond to me at the farms on my 26 druid. As I had been ganking I used multiple yell translation emotes. Well I was stealthed when he got there and found a horde near the edge of the area out of his sight so I killed them and began leaving the spot due to his ability to stealth and all. And just as I was leaving in cat form I saw him starting to come out so I stealthed but he turned heading straight to me, would of seen me easily. So I used one of my yell emotes and what happened?

He instantly 180’d cat formed and stealthed into the farm area; obviously thinking I had just killed another horde there. Fun little things like that make my day.

Well, not that there are many new players to Classic compared to Vanilla/TBC, back then, newer players found out that the AI is not they’re/our only enemy.
