My vote is a bear, because you can RP it as a pocket Druid.

I wonder how many Night Elf Hunters will be a Legolas variant, though. LEGLOOLASS shall live again!

i wont be raiding on my hunter, so going beastmastery and getting a gorilla for the thunderstomp

Ghost saber, I still love the aesthetics of it and it was the first pet I took to cap with me on my original main after all.

Alternitavely wind serpents, I like them a lot too.

We’ll only get 3 pet slots likely… so…
Wolf-type for group buff
Tanky type(likely a gorilla for the small AoE)
3rd pet is used for learning skills from other pets. Once I get all skills, then likely a 1.0 animal (Brokentooth or ZG Bat)

My first hunter, female dwarf, had the ghost saber until I deleted her. When I remade her, I went after the rare white bear (Bjarn) and the ghost saber (which I named Mystiq).

The pet I wanted to get, but didn’t level up enough before Cata ruined them completely, was the Scarlet Tracking Hound (red hyena look). I hated the stupid bulldogs they replaced them with, and also gave to Worgen hunters as their starter pet.

This was changed in 1.9 and it is very likely we will get the 1.12 version of pets which means no shadow damage.

I kept King Bangladesh post nerf and still have him now. If i go Hunter on an Alt, i will likely do the same.

I’ll be heading out into enemy territory taming all of the rare pets I can fine. Anyone know if you will have to level your pets up like in Vanilla or will they automatically level up to your level once tamed?

They have to be leveled up. Also you can only have 3 pets total at a time.

I’ll get a cat with fast attack speed. That’ll most likely be the only pet till I get in the upper 50s. I like to keep the other 2 slots open for ability training and temp pet.

Brokentooth was the fastest cat. Too bad he’s pretty plain looking, but I still want him. I remember farming him way back when for that very reason. Badlands, near the backdoor to Uld.

I’m not overly concerned with the skin. I do think Humar is gorgeous though and the speed on that one is 1.3 , not too bad really.

Depends. Super early? Boar. The charge is hot. But around 25-ish I always loved going to 1k needles and grabbing a wind serpent. For attack speed? Any of the big cats in STVietnam will do.
