When I think of elf ranger/hunter I think of antlers on a helmet or feathers and green armor with regal cape. Basically T2 druid set, we need more animal type sets with feathers, ears or whatever horns sets for hunter please or just something less bad.

I’d rather see more rangeresque sets with hoods, but more druidic looking sets might be nice.

Nah. I’ll pass. I rather have a high creative detailed glowing armor with amazing animations, cool animated high detailed glowing bow/crossbow/gun, and quiver cosmetics where the arrows can use weapon cosmetic enchants when they leave your bow. If they were to go into Hunter theme, it would fit Humans and Orcs more, so on other races it would look horrible like many of the mail items we have. Rexxar fur armor looks cool, but well never own it.
A hood with antlers goes with many classic mythos. Cernnos, Herne the Hunter, and Geenman are all depicted as horned hunters.
I think of guys with shotguns, drinking beer, wearing camo, and sitting in a duck blind or deer stand. Shotguns and beer is a bad combo and no hunter I know does that but still that’s what comes to mind.
Helms with antlers just sounds awful. No hunter would ever walk into the woods wearing something that catches on every damn branch. It’s so impractical.
But hey, I’m wearing purple and hoping that when Easter comes around I can finally and permanently xmog the pink bunny ears. Its sooooooo adorable! I can dream.

This time of year it’s bows, beer, and sometimes something stronger. My folks have Cow painted on the side of their mare.

Forgot about bow season. I’ve met tons of hunters who have tried it but maybe only none still do it as “their thing”. I’ve met more black powder (musket) hunters.
Odd, but I could see that being needed.

My brother is going to it from using a Crossbow. I used a bow exclusively in my teens. Ted Nugent and his wife also use bows. Black Powder is actually used less, at least here.
It could be a Southern thing, but I’m pretty sure and you don’t spend much time in the country in the fall. I’ve got a cousin who paints the price of his cattle on them.
i concur, something more like the leather sets we got in BFA 8.3 where it was bladed fins with claw fingered gloves. a fairly decent example of a “nature-esque” set from another game that i in particular liked the look of was the biomech boots from dcuo, if we got stuff that good looking for hunter sets i’d be ecstatic. i’ve also wanted to see some characters like fel lords have gear available based on them, what i wouldn’t do to make off with one’s gauntlets and the boots with burning green fel faces on them. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/dcuo/images/0/03/FeetBiomech.png/revision/latest?cb=20130401080534
Well personally for me less is better because I’m a VE and we have extremely nice features … So something along the lines of a string mail bikini with a fresh Vulpera tail that I just killed on the bottoms in the back might be a really good combination, and no helm darlings, because that would cover up what should never be covered ever!
And as my warlock pet says, Don’t touch what you can’t afford!
I’d love to see a T6.9 for hunters in full camo hunting gear and a big floppy dong hanging off the belt like a knife
