wait, that’d actually be super cool. Does it? And if so, both ways? (ex: mark rogue, shoot him when he duels someone. vs. Mark target, rogue partner duels him. Shoot the target during duel.)

IMO flare should remove shadowy duel too. It’s fun when classes have unique counters.

i haven’t seen it in a few seasons at this point but iirc assass/sub 2s vendetta duel was a thing for a while
afaik that wasn’t ‘fixed’ but maybe it was and thats why i haven’t seen in

there was a 2’s double rogue team that would q like 12 hours a day
if it still worked they probably would have qd double that with spine/bike

i agree it’s cool to have unique mechanics and this one in particular has sick flavor
but idk it would be unfortunate balancing around this specific interaction would make anything longer than like a 3 second duel unreal imo

unless sub and mm both did bfa levels of damage

→ MM does normal opener from camo on an unmarked target.
→ Follows up his double tap aimed shot with mark first global.
→ Rogue duels as the shot lands / mark applies
→ very limited counterplay lol.

So cool tho

I wonder if the DH thing “The Hunt” from SL does this too.

Worked like this in BfA too, just MM was garbage so wasn’t really noticeable

It pmuch works just like eye does, as eye will let you also see into your partners duel

oh wtf. That’s really cool counterplay. I"m glad it works like that. I assume DH can with normal DH vision thing then? Albeit briefly.

now just waiting for the woundman-esque highlight of grabbing eye before dueling so they can’t peel you. lmao.

If you’re the rogue, and the enemy team takes shadow-sight to counter your duel. Can the rogue who’s dueling see the person with shadow sight as well? Or does the person with shadow sight exist outside of the duel but with vision inside it?

Oh, I think I worded it in a confusing way, I meant if you have a rogue on your team, and he duels someone, and you want to hit the guy in the duel you can take the eye to hit them with him as well

Wait so only the teammate of the rogue can use the eye to interact with the duel target? So, for instance, as a healer I can’t react to my partner being dueled by grabbing eye?

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s how it works, I don’t think I’ve actually seen it done the opposite way around, but maybe it’s possible it can work like that
