Are hunters really looking that bad or people just being overdramatic like on every forum
BM is looking really good. MM has kinda gone into tunnel vission mode i.e. play aoe or st thats it. Surv is back to being forgotten

While the talent trees are in a mediocre state with too many multiple point talents, lackluster skills, below average interactions, and limited build selections, the recent nerfs were not warranted since Hunter was performing middle of the pack in Beta testing.
That being said, it’s the high-end competitive forms of game play where Hunters will suffer most (rated PvP, Mythic Raids, higher-than-gear-cap mythic plus). In general content, the casual player and ones that don’t push the higher content above will be fine.

Hunter will always have a spot for this. Immunity, range and being able to dps while moving as a range with 100% uptime. Its why you always have a hunter for mechanics

So if you ignore 75% of the game, you’re golden gotcha! So bot gold farmers and those who play hunter as a 4-5th alt will love it. For the other 85% of us it’s a s%#@ show. Even for normal raids why would you bring a hunter? Terrible dps, bad survivability and nothing to boost the raid, specially marks and survival.

Recent buffs have the potential to make MM more competitive in multiple content. The higher content is still accessible to Hunters, it’s the perceived Meta that will keep them on the bench.
Everyone can play what they want. Everyone should play what they enjoy. No one should be barred from content just because a Wowhead article or YouTuber says a class is garbage. The problem still lies with the perceived impression being presented.
I will still main MM Hunter regardless of what is being posted. Why? Because I enjoy it.

For me, I am mostly focusing on Survival. And unfortunately, its all over the place.
In my opinion, and I could be wrong, the 3 main areas of focus for the survival tree would be centered around BM (Kill command, stings, pet buffs), multi hit (this would be bombs, carve/butchery and survival, which would be traps, harpoon and Raptor strike/Mongoose bite. The tree is all over the place. there is no way to really specialize. And the bottom tier doesn’t really allow you to fully specialize. It was close, and the latest update to roll out broke mongoose bite. While the other
Its always the same running joke in here…whatever class Im personally playing is the worst and got screwed over and nerfed to hell, lol.
I honestly think its a way to say “I dont know how to play the class at all, but I aint gon take the blame for it.” lol
I love being able to keep the assault up while running, hopping, dodging, ducking and bobbing around knowing that other casters are barely able to get a shot in if the floors on fire, lol.
I don’t think any of the classes are specifically worse. I can provide feedback for the class I play the most though.
Mm is fine but I don’t play enough of it to have a solid opinion.
I don’t play bm at all anymore so I have no clue.
