Hunters get Hero/Bloodlust before Shaman

I find it funny that a Spell that only Shaman used to have takes longer to unlock for them then it does for hunters.

I find it funnier that they say they dont want other classes to have similar spells but hunters and mages get lust too hmm

Mages bring an int buff, so I understand not giving them lust.

Hunters only bring lust as far as buffs go, same with shaman. I don’t see an issue, especially considering how powerful lust is.

Shaman bring some utility and buff totems, such as windfury. They also bring tremor totem which is extremely powerful on some encounters. Hex is a crowd control which will also be very important going forward.

Blizzard gave mages lust in response to groups needing to carry a shaman simply due to lust. They didn’t want party/raid composition to revolve around buffs like that, especially super powerful buffs like Lust.

For hunters, I believe the addition of lust evolved from corehounds having the spell, which made those types of pets pretty much mandatory for hunters at the time. I could be wrong about that, though, so don’t take my word for it.

Shaman still carry important raid-wide benefits, so they’ll still be desired regardless of lust itself. And, of course, a player will be deemed worthy of inclusion by their own skills, regardless of class. Having a raid full of a variety of classes, each played by a highly-skilled player, is highly beneficial - if not essential - to success.

I get the reason for giving them to other classes but when they have made the argument that certain shaman skills needed to be removed because they were too similar to other classes abilites then it doesnt make sense. for example removing gust of wind because it was apparently too similar to blink. lol wat?

I get other classes get it, My point is hunters are getting it around 20ish and Shaman get at 48. I just find it funny since this was a OG Shaman spell.
