Be sure to do a similar comparison to lets say, Druid (from stealth) Convoke, Rogue proper opener.
Shaman Ele blast, Resto Stormkeeper LB? WW Monk?
I’m sure we can find more which add to the list.
If we are talking about unrated, every class/spec has access to stealth.
The Orb carrier is dropping either way. 
If we are arguing for or against the damage potential of any class, then carrying the orb or hitting the orb carrier in ToK shouldn’t even be on the table. I appreciate the effort that you’re going through, but your evidence is deceitful. Double Tap is gone, and Rapid Fire is very easy to counter or mitigate. Sniper shot is a flat % ability. MM hunters have lost their cheap gimmick opener. If they are continuing to be a problem at max level then it is a skill issue.
It’s insane all they crying about MM to the point they are removing us from viability. Hunters already have the worst survivability, just have an op class like warrior, rogue, monk, DH, DK sit on the MM and they cannot play the game.
Yea they are the caster version of a shaman . They are about as soft as a hunter, and can plot you even faster. They hit hard AF. Regardless, Hunter are bottom tier in defense, and (probably) the worst self healing in the game. Since this is a thread about hunters, i thought i’d give some insight on just how easily they die. There’s a reason we are always the go in arena.

All i know is that every bg i’m in (10-15mans) either has 4 warriors, 2 dks and a ww or 4 warlocks and 3 spriests lol
With a rare dh here or there. Had a twin peaks with 7 total rogues, that was a boring teamfight

I can say, across all my characters, that i have never been 1 shot. On this hunter i have 400k hp. No ability is doing that dmg. Or wait, are we complaining about hunters as a fresh in a bg? Or are we just pretending to be NPCs and watching as a 3 sec channel rapid fire bounces off our head like morons without using a defensive?
Im saying the go-to setup for any hunter pleb trying to rock someones world is camo in and burst with rapid fire… people dont even see it coming and the average bg’er will hardly be able to react or counter
You are probably right; but that’s not the fault of a class is it? More of the player… 
Camo in and pop a rapid fire? Oh no! What will I do now that I have 50k less HP from my 400k and now the Hunter is in plain sight?
Druid can’t control who the convoke hits. Rogue and WW has to be in the pit, so can get swamped. Elemental has shorter range and can’t set it up with camo.
MM can pick off orb holders even if the enemy team has full control of middle. So, I don’t think there is any comparison. My suggestion is to hug walls and corners because trying to move OOR won’t save you.
I didn’t say anything about OP. This is a counter to some people saying they never see hunter topping the boards, which is just silly talk.
SO you want Sniper Shot removed, I get it.
What’s the trade? Do Hunters get that Mastery DR lessened? More Range.
I’ve already said that I think hunters need to have better self sustain. Probably shorter cooldowns on cheetah and turtle. Also, priority fix bursting shot and explosive shot so they can be reliably used to counter gap closers because, as is, they fail more than they work.
Can we please call them MM hunters, cuz BM is not part of any thread.
Bursting Shot, even if it were reliable, does next to nothing to help. I mean, I can think of times when I use it to knock a Rogue out of a Smoke Bomb or for knocking people out of Darkness. Best case scenario is you knock someone off a cliff. The first thing I think they’re going to need to do is work on dropping Rapid Fire via CDR (if that’s what they want out of the new talent replacing Double Tap) to a 15 second CD - 20 seconds is too long and it’s not up enough imo.
Depends on the map. Most maps have locations where, if it works, it’s great.
