People really hate it when something is changed or tacked on. The Survival change is proof enough of this.
While I donât really know or like playing rogues and wouldnât feel particularly strongly about any of their specs being gutted, I donât think a fourth spec that doesnât affect the other three would go that amiss.
Again, for those who missed it: this is all outdated conjecture on my part. The fact that Dark Ranger is being used for a hunter hero talent pretty much puts any chance of what I propose in the grave.

It sounds pretty good tbh. I just wish they would rework cobra shot so itâs not a waste of an ability.

No shot we take embrace the shadows over smoke screen.
Well if you look at cds, the self healing seems pretty strong and good uptime over the burst healing from exhil.
Exhil is 2 minutes.
Black arrow is 30 seconds, with 16 second duration. And it synergizes with all the abilities in the row.
Especially Shadow surge.
I never experienced ranged Survival, but I enjoy melee Survival. I wish they would revive old Survival and rename current Survival to be 4th spec just so people who want old Survival back can get it back and people who like current Survival can keep it with a new name. But something tells me that will never happen.

Melee survival is better you have a melee spec while having hunter toolkits

should have been Beast mastery in my opinion. Rexxar was a Beast Master.

We really do need more physical ranged classesâŠwhen Bard, Blizzard? With MM focusing on standing still and sniping, BM all about the pets, and SV beingâŠthat, the door is wide open for a mobile ranged class

Donât BM and MM have like the fewest buttons of any class and spec?
Hero talents are even worse versions of covenants and force players into a certain aesthetic and playstyle which is extremely lame
I somehow manage to fill all of my keybinds as BM.
My basic expectation of Sentinel is that itâs going to bring back the bits of RSV that are either still missing, not already in MM and BM, or not tied to Dark Ranger thematically
Probably with elemental arrows from Warlords MM (since Tyrande and living Sylvanas both had a version of that it would fit the hero theme)

no we are not , we are getting one shot back , not the entire spec . It was by far the most fun hunter spec till they ruined it

I actually always sort of hoped bard could be a heal spec for hunter (or begrudgingly rogue).
