hunter/lock pets are a core concept of the class identity. If their pet dies then so should the character. How is it fair they can endlessly revive their pets but priests/pally/shaman/druid cannot revive people? Either count the pet death as a character death or make it so once the pet dies it can never revive. Reviving goes against the basic idea of hardcore, death=death.
Lock pets don’t die, they immortal and get banished back to the Twisting Nether.
Hunter pets, maybe. Interesting. But Priests etc can also rez hunter pets:)
i agree with hunters but not warlocks. warlock pets are just spells, of course you can recast them. but a hunter pet is like a real character with exp, skills, etc. so if it dies, you should have to go train a new one
No I mean the hunter should also die if the pet dies. Its a symbiosis.
oh. well that’s just dumb
are you calling me dumb?
it’s a dumb idea i would never dream of disparaging your intellect, sir.
By that logic, the entire party should die when one person dies in a dungeon.
No thanks, requiring a new pet would be sufficient.
Theres 3 options
1: if pet dies hunter dies
2: if pet dies it cant revive and you have to get a new one and restart
3: if pet dies you can no longer get a new pet, that was your one pet for life. You can dismiss a pet a get a new one but if it dies then you can never get a new one.
I’ll pick option 4. Don’t fix what’s not broken, leave it alone.
This post went from a slightly interesting topic to troll post quickly.
how is it troll? its a hardcore server, these are hardcore ideas
Good point for hunters. They should have to take another pet.
What if I have the Ghost Saber from Darkshore as a pet.
It’s already dead
how can you kill that which is already dead?
And you are welcome to incorporate into your experience.
Yes and yes…gtfo
