Hey, PvP player here and definitely need to vent this one out. So I agree, looking at the scoreboard at the end of games, that Hunters does cover their dps role pretty efficiently as long as they work along a team. This should be expected considering this is basically all a hunter can do efficiently; positioning and damage. Alone, without any support whatsoever, playing hunter is a challenge. No survivability compared to any other class, at least most. I’d take out the mages, which I think are in a similar spot as the hunters. That Double Tap has been taken away from us feels indeed a bit bad considering this is the only burst we can rely on to take out most classes that can out sustain anything else in our kit is one thing. But I want to point out about the outcome of the fights of Hunter vs Warrior. Anyone who has seen it, or play through it knows. It is ridiculous. Warrior can literally own a hunter on every (literally) aspect of the encounter. They are impossible to kite (so many gap closers), they deal TONS of damage (one charge can lead to about 70% of my hp gone by the time I leap away with disengage, after which they will charge/leap again anyway), can be stunted/rooted ect. and obviously out-sustain a hunter. So after miserable efforts to even survive and deal damage, a warrior can kill me pretty effortlessly, ending the fight will full health, nowhere near struggling to survive or kill me. They do needed a buff, agreed. But to that extent, with our nerf, is not healthy to the PvP community. I am sharing this thought with good faith and hope to have fun again in any situation I can only count on myself. Hopefully, my experience will be taken in consideration among ( I have no doubt) others. Maybe warriors are meant, now, to have this effect on hunters. I seek some clarity on the matter and hope I might find it.
Your attention is most appreciated.
Rightfully,
