I sometimes use the same helm mog as you instead of goggles.
I think mail makes sense. For hunters, at the least. When I think of an archer, it definitely calls to mind images of the yeoman with longbows, chain-mail and conical metal helmets. You can knock a bow with plate as long as your hands aren’t restrained too much, the only limiting factor is money, and the hero of Azeroth is not found wanting.
I think Leather and Mail both suffer from the same problem - there (was) only 2 classes betwixt each armor class and the inspiration just isn’t there. Demon hunters exist now and leather is a little better off, but mail still suffers from “do I put glowing stones on it or a bunch of bones?”
Cloth and Plate get a lot of ‘healthy’ middle-grounds.

Back then, the eyebrows didn’t poke through the helm. But in 8.3 Blizzard for some reason decided that this helm had to be poked through by the eyebrows. But this is. Luckily in Shadowlands I can shave the eyebrows and keep beard. Because without beard it doesn’t look as good for me.

I’ve got a chain mail dress look. Easy leather and lightweight.
Well, I’m in the Brewfest dress for the time being, but for the most part I try to wear the few things that look leathery or utilitarian, something like a ranger would wear. Or trollish gear since I play a troll.
Both my hunters are females wearing sexy mogs, so obviously not hunter attire.
My BIG question is, for as long as WoW has had hunters why don’t we have “camo” gear? It would have been kool if the Legion hunter class hall sold “camo” gear or transmogs.
What do you guys think of this updated mog??

It’s very green and huntery! It really sets off your…er…eye. 
It’s a very nicely put together mog imo.
I actually find Mail armor to be the best armor to Tmog. That is mostly because I enjoy low fantasy and having a sense of realism in my Tmogs.

They are great looking that is for sure! Well worth the effort to get them.
Here it is. I forgot if you can just buy it from the vendor or if you have to do a quest chain and then you’ll be able to buy it from her. It’s been a minute.

With me it varies, usually I just hide the chest piece, and stick with shirts, though I wish there were better boot choices.
