Hunter Tracking

So I’ve decided to level a hunter and I’m having issues with the tracking.

Is there a way to keybind the trackings or make a macro that turns it into a spell like it used to be?

I really don’t like having to manually click on the minimap, deal with the menus and stuff. I want a fast way to track as sometimes I need to turn on/off track humanoids in Warmode, or beast to follow those pesky druids!

Edit: I have OPie but I can’t get it to work with hunter tracking only, it shows a HUGE menu for every type of minimap tracking. If anyone knows how to edit that, it’d also solve the problem.

The humanoid one is returning a blank LUA error for me as an FYI.

The pastebin one worked just fine.

Also thank you for working those out.

I hate running around with humanoid tracking on unless I am actively hunting someone or in PvP. My old macro no longer working was driving me crazy.

Glad it helped!

Hmm, cant get the macro to work.

The one in the quote had a slight flaw in it, and had to be linked through pastebin instead.

Either way, I removed my posts(the ones I could) as, since I made them, I started to ask myself whether they’re allowed.

In another topic, a player who made an addon for changing minimap tracking got suspended. I can’t say for sure that this was the reason, but I don’t want to risk anything, so better to remove them.

For some reason, the devs sought to change how minimap tracking works on the back-end, as hunter tracking for example is no longer done through separate abilities. Meaning we can’t treat them as spells anymore, but instead have to use scripts to make it happen outside of the dropdown filter menus.
