This is the Midnight S1 Hunter tier gear:
Please Blizzard, I am begging you. Can we please get more hunter tier sets without animal bones and stuff on them? Like something more themed around the fantasy of being a ranger, and not wearing animals?
Every tier I feel like I’m just looking at the same hunter tier set over and over again. I can’t even tell the difference between them anymore. Please give us something else 
There is not a single Hunter tier set that I think looks cool. There are a couple that are “Okay I guess I could wear that and not feel embarrassed” but nothing I would ever choose to wear.
We get plenty like that. The current tier is a ranger set. The one before that was a ranger set. Albeit a dark ranger. Only the first season tier was a trophy set. So we’re due for another.
We do yeah but honestly, for some reason Blizzard thinks “ranger class fantasy” means “boring”.
When I think of ranger tier gear in WoW, I want them to be flashy. Do some cool looking shoulders or a belt or something, theme them after the raid. The current raid set is more ranger-like, but it’s just… boring. Like noticeably boring compared to the other tier sets.
All hunter sets look bad. It’s the tradeoff they get for being the class with the lowest skill floor and ceiling
(Jokes aside I can’t think of a single hunter set that has ever blown me away)
I can’t think of a Hunter set not reasonably summed up as boneyard, animal cosplay, or Windrunner cosplay. Maybe you guys can.

Lol, I love this set.
Will definitely be incorporating some of the red recolor into my own, current set.
Feels like it was made ‘for me’.
Issue is, hunters look really different if you go by race.
For real? I absolutely adore it. Getting it was my third priority set after priest and paladin.
I imagine it’s a difficult vibe to design for generally. Because for a lot of players “boring”, or I guess plain, is what they think of when they imagine a ranger set. Low key, subtle, able to blend in. But they did that for the HFC tier and it was very much maligned for how boring it was. I also like them to have a bit of flourish, but for many it quickly becomes too much.
Trophy sets though (as in the hunter sets where they’re wearing the trophies of their hunt) probably afford the designers all sorts of freedom. Just pick a creature, take it apart, then slap the pieces on a morph suit. In this midnight set it seems to be some kind of dinosaur beast from zul’aman. I think it will look amazing on a troll.
I at least praise the current tier for not just being another beast slapped on armor tier.

It’s hard to be more hunter-y than making an outfit out of something’s corpse. I don’t think it’s going to change any time soon.
I don’t disagree with them. But truly, what other styles could they go for? I guess we could do old timey English gentleman hunter. Like Van Pelt from Jumanji. I mean that sincerely. They usually feel more catered to the bow hunter type. We could have a gun wielding safari hunter type.
Less bones and elves, and a thousand more of Grease and Grit!

Dragonstalker has a good model but bad colors….I actually liked giantstalker too but it’s old and low poly. Nighthold was decent too.

The best looking sets they’ve ever had for hunter came from shadowlands, those are pretty much the only ones i’ve ever liked.
Honestly since Blizzard has thrown out keeping strictly to the Warcraft style, they should add more Starcraft looking gear like this:
Same here, I like the Kyrian mail covenant gear the best for hunters.
Mained hunter since launch. Another dogwater tier set for hunters as per usual.
