Anyone going to be feasting on the delicious tears of hunter QQ after they remove double tap ? I mean they are still going to do serious damage but the gimmicky double tap will be gone.
I wonder how many are gonna find a spot on rbg teams after this?
Blizz will fold like a lawn chair because 90% of the wow population play hunter and they will end up giving them triple tap but in the mean time I’m gonna enjoy every last delicious tear!!

I’m glad double tap will be gone, it’ll be great for MM after some tuning. Keep in mind, blizz can now bump up MM overall damage on all their shots now that double tap is gone.
TLDR: inb4 people cry about endless 200k aim shots.

Arent they just gonna remain base sitters for rbgs? at least thats what i see them used for also odds are just like warlocks rogues etc they will prolly just switch specs survival can even hit 150-200k killshots atm lol

Mm isn’t great as base sitter. Bm is spectacular. Seeing more rogue base sit this xpac.
I run my own teams and I like trying stuff. The big push comes after patch 1 as everyone knows in PvP. I didn’t take a rogue, I took a bm hunter and a mm hunter. It gives me a lot of options. For example in arathi I’d send tank to farm, both hunters to mines and rest of tram to bs. The hunter would kill cap mines and the bm would stay to defend and the mm would go kill cap stables or lm. It worked really well

Easy to kill and cc, easy to heal/use cds against
I’d rather hunters galore than ferals/dhs/other unpeelable fotm at every corner
I’m happy its going but at the same time i’d rather see other things addressed

In arena for sure. In Rbgs hunters are a bit more of a nuisance. More open areas
Eh we fought a team with 3 hunters in rbgs at 2k that got demolished, then fought a team with 3 dhs and another with 2 ferals and 2 dhs and that was significantly more terrifying lol
Idk maybe its a paladin things, hunters have never really bothered me. I could see it being really aggravating on a druid though
My BM hunter is happy with the change, my MM hunter… not so much so.
Idk, MM was already easily dealt with. Id rather they nerf feral/ret in rbgs than MM. Every comp past 2k mmr is double ret or double feral or double uhdk or double dh.
People were complaining about hunters before double tap was even an ability, and they will complain about hunters after double tap is gone.
People complain about Hunters when they are s-tier and people complain about hunters when they are d-tier.

While I agree in principle this is true, they really needed to to this tuning at the same time they removed DT. Just taking away the burst window and replacing it with a dogwater talent is not a great way to go about it.
Might be on some Copium but I really hope what you are saying is true and it means they can make MM damage good outside of DT now.
I don’t like DT anyhow. I hate having to stand still.
You are going to be sorely disappointed if you think DT is why you are dying to MMs.

Well, that’s the thing, using double tap during your burst window was a loss DPS. You used it as an opener and outside of your burst window.
I’m not dying to hunters at all I’m a healer. I just wanna see real hunters in PvP that don’t rely on gimmicky abilities.
Patch one is gonna change the landscape of PvP it always does. I’m kind of excited. Disc priests get double charges in pain sup! That is sickness and my main is a disc …stuff like that

Every class relies on gimmicky abilities, but sure i agree to an extent. I like most of the changes coming on tues. UHDK/Feral needs a bit more addressing, but changes to arms/disc/holyP look like really great moves.
