Why isn’t this advertised as the go to talent instead of scent of blood? With the conduit you get 50% wild call chance and it procs barbed shot more frequently than the scent of blood talent… i’m confused.
It’s really just a matter of whether you prefer to deal with the RNG of Pack or the guarantee of Scent. Neither is necessary to keep Frenzy stacks up, but both make it easier.
Because scent of blood is more dps.
Keeping frenzy is more important than anything else.
Every talent is simmed every patch to determine which is the highest. Scent of blood is the default talent.

Chimaera Shot should never be chosen
Because it sims as a DPS increase. One with the pack used to be our go to during BFA with the right Azerite traits but its no longer viable. Most BM hunter talents seem to be dead and its now cookie cutter. It’s why we keep asking for some re-work. Class tuning is in a terrible state right now.
With one choice of taking that conduit you lose another more valuable dps conduit in its place for one reason.
